Horrible design

Have used otter box for years and never had a problem with the symmetry case until now. The edges of the case do not cover the whole phone. Sides were warped and feels super cheap. Not impressed otterbox.

Posted .Apologies for any confusion prior to purchase but you are, of course, correct that the Symmetry Series case does not come with a screen protector. Interestingly enough, a lot of people prefer direct interaction with their device display, so we like to leave that as an option in addition to the possibility of using one of our glass screen protectors, such as the Amplify Glass.

Mediocre design, not a truly universal compatible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It’s very obvious OtterBox just slightly modified the iPhone 12 mini design of their symmetry case to work with the iPhone 13 mini in their attempt to make a universal case it would work with both models although there are very subtle differences that make this really not possible to be done well. The camera cut out isn’t perfectly aligned but does work with both cameras curouts and the side buttons all around work fine but there is a looseness by the volume buttons with the rubber. What’s really annoying is they advertise compatible with MagSafe but there is absolutely nothing in here with magnets. The MagSafe charger will work very weakly with this case but it will not adhere very well to other MagSafe chargers or stands it is a very very weak connection that goes through the case to the actual phone’s MagSafe commection as there are absolutely no magnets in this case. Very misleading. Going to be returning this.

Keep in mind, while that case is compatible with Qi charging, it is not designed for optimal performance with MagSafe accessories. All of our cases have been redesigned for the newer, thicker iPhone 13 Pro Max devices, but our engineers also designed it to be compatible with the older devices as well.
