    Best Buy have stollen my time and money

    Set up installation and 3 guys showed up. When they were told about the job that I needed and had paid for, they told me they couldn’t do it and another team needed to come out. Then I got a call to schedule the right team and was told it was about 2-3 weeks out. On that appointment day, I called after the window was past to find out what was happening. I was told they were a couple of hours away due to another job running over. No one showed up or called. Called the next day, and was told that someone local would call me back, and no one called. I have sent numerous messages to the consultant with no reply. Best Buy have stollen my time and money. I still don’t have the installation that I paid for a month ago. I will be contacting my credit card company to report fraud on this order.

    Terrible Coordination - Installed System Myself

    An absolute disaster. After three months of unmitigated failures to schedule anything properly, I ended up installing this system myself. People were nice enough, but the coordination was 100% abysmal. My Magnolia POC would throw out some dates, and without asking if I was going to be home on that/those date(s), the Geek squad would call stating that they're in my driveway ready to install. ??? I would email them to reschedule, and four weeks later, without replying to my email (or confirming whether an offered date worked for me), more people would just materialize in my driveway while I'm at work stating "Hey, we're here in your driveway, we'll hang out for another 15 minutes before we have to leave." ??? This happened four times over three months before I just installed the system myself. Normally, when taking dates from a customer, there is a feedback loop where you check your availability as a vendor, then CONFIRM with the customer that your dates match, and then - and only then - add it to everyone's calendar to ensure no missed appointments. "Hard pass," due to a basic inability to perform routine scheduling tasks with customers.

    Avoid this service. I'm an Elite Plus member. After a 5 week wait for an installation appointment, I was same-day canceled for my appointment, with no immediate explanation. Instead of setting me for a convenient, 'we're-sorry-we-had-to-cancel-on-you-through-no fault-of-your-own' appointment, I was stapled to the bottom of their priority list. The next available was an inconvenient date for my job, and a minimum of 4 MORE weeks out. I promptly canceled entirely, and attempted no less than 6 phone calls to get an install manager to speak to me about the issue, to see if it could be resolved. I was never connected to one, nobody ever returned my numerous calls to either apologize, or to attempt a resolution. Absolutely ZERO customer support. I understand things happen, but the lack of transparency, support, or conflict resolution in this issue pretty much terminates any chance I'll ever use Best Buy Geek Squad for installation services again in the future.

    The geek squad was good but I was suppose to get credit for the speakers that were wrong. They saw they were wrong and took them back but my account wasnt fully credited. I called Best Buy and they were charging over 200.oo for doing nothing. I asked to talk to a supervisor and was put on hold. I left my number and was suppose to be contacted that evening and never heard from anyone. Horrible service. I will be filing for a full refund with my credit card company and will think twice about doing business with Best Buy. I am a member of Geek Squad.
