Great game for fans of RPGs and survival games... could use some improvements the game is a bit clunky at times. The character creation isn't the best but there is an assortment of armors that will cover your face anyways. Definitely something to try thoughhighly recommend!

this game is very realistic and kinda hard to survive but it has a lot of things I like and its coop. I don't have many hours in yet but i would recommend it if you like open world rpgs. kinda sucks you need ps plus for coop.

A resolutely no-nonsense open-world, survival RPG that forfeits the hand-holding and unearned grand destinies of other genre titles, Outward instead replaces such comforts with a thoroughly player driven affair where satisfaction and reward come in the completion of the smallest of tasks and everything must be earned.

I picked this up to play with my wife as a couch coop game. Its a fun sandbox exploring game and as a budget title I think its worth it if you like games like Conan Exiles. Did I mention its split screen coop? Those games are hard to come by.

Graphics are like that of maybe a PS2 game, which I was able to look past as the gameplay and survival aspect more than make up for it. After playing for a bit I really started to enjoy the game.

Developer did a great job for being a independent company. Love the split screen couch co-op. Outward is worth the price for the hours of game play.

It’s an pretty interesting game with a unique magic system. Without the co-op mode, the game would likely wouldn’t have ended up on my radar. I bought this to play with my Skyrim-obsessed girlfriend and we’ve been having a blast. If you are looking for a cooperative RPG that doesn’t require a second console and copy of the game, this is the one.

No game is perfect but if you are wanting a game of survival where the weather can and will kill you, where you need to sleep to survive then Outward is for you. This is not a game for the "push to win" people of today. This is old school where you had to map things out and do true inventory management.

Better now that it is patched

The game came out with a bad glitch that would erase your inventory, but the developers have now patched it. You pretty much play an average Joe in a fantasy setting, trying to make money and survive. It's a pretty cool concept.

If you're looking for a an open world RPG, this is a good choice. Light on story and wont best the likes of Skyrim , but if you can look passed thr graphics, it strikes a middle ground between Kingdoms of Amalur and Breath of the Wild.

Besides the graphics and the combat being sub-par the game really does so many other things right and I really appreciate it having split screen coop.

Man. This game needed more polish. I know it was created by a small team but c'mon now. Should've been in the oven for another year. Other than that, if you can get it on a sale then its an alright time with another friend.
