A rare Indy survival RPG that while not as polished as say The Witcher 3 or Dark Souls, it is an impressive adventure.
Developed by a small team of developers (Nine Dots) with a strong old school RPG vibe, it doesn't hold your hand and is layered with multiple survival systems such as thirst, hunger, weather, but as you advance it is very rewarding.
To me this game feels like a better experience that the recent slew of half-baked AAA titles.
Worth a buy at $40 if you like a RPG with challenge.

But if the description of the game intrigues you, it's definitely worth trying. It is not a traditional RPG by any means. Everything seems to be gear and item based so far. 'Death' is handled in the coolest way I think I've seen in a game, and crafting so far has been logical and clicks in well with the survival elements.

Good entertaining game. Lacks quest locations on map. Also character doesn’t seem to level up

Think Dark Souls type but with local co-op included too with more focus on survival needing to sleep, drink water, and wear proper attire for different types of weather. Very fun the wife and I are enjoying it so far.

Remember Morrowind? Or before RPGs had maps that show you quest markers and take all the exploring out of the game? Well this is the modern version of those! Small studio built but made with love and a logical difficulty.

This game is ok for what it has to offer. It’s made independent of a small gaming company. The game is sometimes hardness to adjust but just ok and good at some points.

Nice open-world RPG for Xbox. Has some survival aspects like food and weather that bog it down a little but you might enjoy those aspects. Good combat and exploration.

I tried to get into this game
The context is something I normally enjoy It does allow for multi-player split screen which is rare nowadays.
I played this title for many hours
But this game just limits you too much.
For me progression if any that you make is almost non existent which just isn't fun for me.

This item arrived on time and was free from defects. The game is really fun to play. You can easily spend many hours micro-managing all the different options.

Best Buy did their part flawlessly. Outward is a great game for those who like open world RPG's. Many large maps to explore, interesting main quest line with so many options there are limitless playthrough opportunities without any duplication. Well worth the price.

Low quality for the time this game came out... not really worth a play through.
