    Microwave Installation ruined brand new cabinet.

    This microwave was installed into a brand new kitchen. Installation caused damage to the cabinet they attached it to. They not only ruined the cabinet by drilling holes in the wrong place, they didn’t even put the screw in correctly on the left side. They left it sticking up and leaning to one side. Extremely poor installation! I have put in a damage claim and will be asking for them to cover the cost of another cabinet along with installation.

    If I would have known how bad it looked installed by Best Buy's 3rd party professionals I would have said leave and I would install it. Not a professional job at all. Yes, it was installed but look at the pictures. The microwave has to be straight along the cabinet not crooked. The first picture shows the unit installed by their "professionals".

    Best Buy installs is the worst…..

    The installers were not only late, but they installed the microwave incorrectly, and I have been trying to get this corrected for months with no luck. As you can see in the attached video, you can hear the extremely powerful found that doesn’t work at all because of it wasn’t properly attached.

    Looks really bad, it's crooked with huge spaces between the cabinet and the unit. It is loose fitting on one side and is not level. I called and scheduled another appointment for them to come out and fix these issues and they never showed up. I called to check and gave them work order number I was given when I set up the appointment and was told I would get a call back in about an hour and did not get a call back. So disappointed in this company.

    I would not have Best Buy install another product in my home. The over-the-range microwave installation was an ordeal. The installers did not seem to know what they were doing. They drilled 3 sets of holes in my cabinet before they got it right. The cabinet was damaged. They were about to place a filthy tarp on my kitchen counter before I stopped them. Clearly it was a mistake to use Best Buy to install a microwave.

    The guys arrived on time but install was not up to par. The vent on the inside of microwave hood is loose. Called Total Tech, scheduled an appointment for them to come back out and no one showed At appointment time. On phone with total tech for over 55 minutes. Horrible servive.

    I cancelled the order for my Over the Range Microwave because Best Buys extended the delivery date one month beyond the original date they gave me while I was in the store.

    Lousy installation Sevice. Would not install it because of a back splash was there. Was not told anything at the store when purchasing the installation package. Rude and very condescending.

    This was my first appliance purchase. After a few weeks now I still cannot use the microwave because installation is no done correctly. Instead of connecting the electrical wire inside the electrical box on the wall used from the previous microwave. The technician drilled a hole inside my cabinet to rewire the outlet instead. I want my installation money refunded back to hire some else to install it.

    Terrible guys came for installation they didn't know what they were doing so they ended up damaging my kitchen cabinets during the installation of the microwave which had to get new microwave and I filed a claim to get the fixing cost of $300.

    Very sad that in-home consultant was on site, sold a microwave and install that fit but once the installer came to the home he refused to install. This ordeal wasted time and energy. The in-home consultant did agree to a fair compromise but the installation company should be reprimanded. I attached a picture of the microwave that was later installed by another company.

    poor service. when he left I found the grill still in box. i couldnt get anyone on phone so I went to store to set up appointment. I got 12 + calls and messages about appointment, but no one showed up. No calls, no apologies. whole day wasted plus time and effort to set up appointment.

    Microwave was not installed completely or correctly. The installer stripped the place On the microwave where the screw goes in . I am still Waiting for replacement after several weeks . Prior to this installation I waited all Day for my first appointment and they never showed.

    had microwave over the counter installed May 17 2022 came loose and almost fell on Sept. 1 2022 best buy says I will have to pay for them to come back and fix the poor workmanship. customer service sucks

    Did not install correctly. Door wiggles a little, its uneven at the top (i think they installed it too tight), and there is already a chip on the costing inside.

    It took three months to have it installed by a third party installer. The stalker was rude and dis a terrible installation. It took me three hours to correct what he should have done.

    They installed my microwave unleveled. I need for Best Buy to resend someone to level the microwave properly. I have attached pictures of the botched job.

    Tech showed to install, needed to reschedule and said he’d call back to reschedule. That was 3 weeks ago. Microwave remains uninstalled.

    They did not install the brace properly at all. When drilling the hole for the wire they used a paddle bit all the way thru and chipped up the cabinet.
