Disney does an excellent job of telling the story of how the wizard of oz came to be . They also did very well tying aspects of the classic wizard of oz movie into the story.

I loved the original when I was a kid, and saw this in theaters when it came out and got it on Blu Ray cant wait for the next one.

Didn't realize it was only in 3D Blu-ray format. Would have been nice if it also came in regular Blu-ray format.

This was an excellent movie for the entire family! The acting and special effects were super. It is one you can watch over and over again and see new things each time.

This was a great movie and I would recommend it to anyone even a Wizard of Oz fan. It doesn't offend the legacy of the original.

I like the movie and the Blu-ray disc is great for sound and picture quality. I would recommend adding this to your collection.

Overall, it was good. I wasn't blown away by it though and I think it could have been much better. BluRay/DVD quality was good.

I don't go out to the movies, because I am not impressed with most movies put out there now. I would have gone to see this one.

THIS IS A FUN FAMILY MOVIE THAT MY KIDS REALLY ENJOYED. tHE 3d VERSION IS INCREDIBLE WITHTHE SOUND EFFECTS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

I love this movie a lot and finding out that they still sold these blu ray copies was a great surprise to me.

This is a cool family movie and I bought the version that included the digital copy so we can watch on the iPad during travel.

First time I have heard about this movie and I’m looking forward to seeing it.

While not as good as the original 1939 classic, fans of that film will enjoy this movie. The special effects are good.

If you're able I would suggest getting it in 3-D it is amazing 3-D movie and I think that's how it's supposed to be seen.

Watched this one in 3D when it came out at the theater many years ago. Still awesome at home.

Kind of disappointing. Could have been so much more I think. James Franco was very wooden and not believable in this role.

Oz is a great wizard, but why is it such a phenomenon. It's a long movie, but it's so fantastic you actually loose yourself in time and just enjoy the movie.

This movie is definitely worth watching, though I would probably not go with the 3-D if I had the choice to make again.

This update ofmthe classis will entertain children and adults. Although nothing will surpass the original if there had ti be a remake this one is great.
