The 1939 original Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie and this movie did a great job of linking to that one. It is a very fun movie that everyone can watch and the visual effects are excellent.

I was amazed at the colors and the overall scenery. I was a little disappointing at the plot line. I grew up with the original Wizard of Oz so it was hard to get a mind set for this new one.

Not a bad adaptation with more than a few obvious nods to the original. Better than I thought it would be, but not as good as it could have been.

I love the Wizard of Oz, I have seen Return to Oz, I have seen Wicked the play. So I thought yes I must see this. I hated it when it was in the theater. I only bought this for my 8 year old and 17 year old cause they liked it. The reason I didn't like it cause I was familiar with Wicked which I loved. This is nothing like it. And I do not like James Franco or Mila Kunis in these parts. So if you know nothing about pre-Wizard of Oz you may like it.

Better than the original. This is all about the wizard, as opposed to Dorothy. Alot more fun!

Not much to say other than Disney remake! Its a good one. If you like new takes on old classics you will love this.

This was a very good take on how the wizard of Oz came to be. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the movie and can't wait to see if they do something more next time around

I thought the movie was great! (I won’t put any spoilers though) It was super clear quality because of the blue-ray, and overall it was a great price!

Hadn't heard much about the film from the theater release, bought it on a whim for the 3-D effects, was blown away by the effects and the intertwining of the old and new story lines.

I'm sick of Hollywood continuously cashing in on old ideas, but it was nice to finally see the Wizard actually became the Wizard and how the Wicked Witch became the Wicked Witch.

the movie had great action showing have the wiz got there and saved Oz from the wicked witches and all the people that helped him even thou he wanted to leave he stayed and help them

I really liked this movie, it's very fun and interesting, James Franco does an excellent performance, and all the details they added to the movie look great.

Love this movie. Tells the story of the beginning of the Wizard and the evil Witch of the west. I would recommend this movie to everyone.

Love this movie! Great plot and excellent images! Everything moves and keeps you on the edge of your seat! Goes great with Judy Garland's movie and helps you understand that plot!

Entertaining flick with a good spin on the Wizard of Oz story. Did a nice job keeping the story line consistent with the first movie.

loved Oz The Great and Powerful! So pretty and an interesting take on some of the characters. Very entertaining for all ages. Hope they make additional movies in the Oz story.
