I love this movie. It's highly underrated. The 3D is great, but even if you do not like 3D you can watch it in standard HD too. Cheesy plot, but great action, characters, and atmosphere make this movie a cult classic. It's definitely a must watch movie in my opinion.

I already own this movie on Blu-Ray, but got an Xbox One S, and wanted to test out HDR on my new tv. WOW, the recommendation at the store for this movie was spot on. The colors just exploded off the screen, even compared to the Blu Ray copy. Very pleased (and I never buy movies full price, but this was an exception).

I watched PACIFIC RIM in the theaters back in 2013, and loved it. When it came out in 4K, I rushed out to BEST BUY and got me a copy. I have seen it several times now, and the action is so life-like, its like its happening in your living room. Do yourself a favor and buy it in 4K. You'll be glad you did.

Love this movie. It's not the best story or movie but the visuals are amazing and the soundtrack is the best. And it's fun. Test your sound system with the main title. Have it in both 3D and 4k now and I do not regret the double-dip. If you ever enjoyed a King Kong or Godzilla movie this will please.

I enjoyed my first few times seeing this movie more than most people i know. This type of movie is literally straight out of an anime and I love it. When I heard the the 4k release was coming, I was super excited and let me tell you...this is the movie to show off your setup! Whether you watch the HDR10 version on the disc or stream the Dolby Vision version from Vudu...DO IT!!!

open the box, its ready to use not a lot of set up procedures like a PC. It takes a little time to adjust if your not familiar with Mac. the speed of the computer is fantastic, no waiting 10 minutes for it to boot up. Open the lid and its on. I love it, would recommend this lap top, Cost more but worth not having to deal with usual PC issues

Imagine fighting Godzilla’s enemies in a transformer with mind link. If you could fight a giant monster, this would be the way. Love sci-fi movies. Good addition to our collection. Special effects were great. Interesting storyline. Good movie.

I received a great deal of bang for my buck ordering this movie in 4K! I needed a suitable movie to try out my new Sony 4K TV and Pacific Rim did not disappoint. The nighttime scenes rocked with their deep blacks, yet details were not buried. Can't think of a better movie as my initial exposure to the wonders of UHD!

Probably not the best movie I’ve ever seen but it is very entertaining and the 4K HDR is superb! The Atmos track is really good as well and if you have a good sound system and a good subwoofer than it is a fantastic movie with lots of LFE.

Giant robots are cool! Giant monsters are cool too! Combine the two fighting against each other and add an interesting sci-fi story to it, and you have something people have wanted to see for ages! The special effects are amazing! The creature and robot designs are amazing! The story is fun and exciting! Pacific Rim is a great movie!

I like the extra resolution and sound quality that 4K brings but HDR in this movie is a bit too much at times. It is burning your eyes out on the bright scenes and you can barely see details on the dark scenes. Other HDR titles do not show this same issue. I had to adjust the TV for this movie then adjust it back for others. I hope this is not a trend going forward.

I really wasnt impressed with my new 4ktv and its ability to "blow me out of the water" with clarity until I watched this movie in 4k. Everything in the version is incredibly clear, vibrant, and just all around a great experinece. This is the movie to put on and impress your friends. Must buy for 4ktv owners.

Pacific Rim looks absolutely fantastic in 4k. The picture is incredibly crisp and the colors are stunning and very Vivid. If only the acting in the movie was half as good as the visuals this would be a perfect movie. Still I'm rating it 5 out of 5 stars because it is so visually stunning!!

Good movie, enjoy the 3D, it doesn't have a lot of features, but fun to watch.

this movie reminds me a lot of the Japanese anime robotic movies captured quite a bit details in a robot world defending United States or the earth from an alien life form a part 2 would be recommend it to this movie considering they don't really go into depth about the other Indian origin that's trying to invade the world and take it over

This is a fun movie in which the updated Atmos track has made it even more enjoyable.

I got this on a black friday special, mostly because I have a friend that did a bunch of special effects work on it and wanted to see. I enjoyed the movie enough that I did not want the 2 hrs of my life back like many other movies. My biggest issue is it is filmed so dark at times it is hard to see the actual movie. Worth watching if you have a couple free hrs, but don't go out of your way for it.

Saw this movie in the Sony 4k area and tested the home theater system and display and the Sony products and I knew the movie was good just by the preview I saw, I just had to get it...awesome picture quality, awesome story, awesome ending...I've watched it twice I'm itching to watch it again soon!

I used to live in Japan so this style of movie really kind of calls to me I enjoyed it a lot I know a lot of people didn't particularly care for it but I thought it was well done stories good and I thought the direction animated and shots were fantastic I thought it looked like a great show
