The Panamax - 8-Outlet Surge Protector we purchased came recommended by Best Buy. Before purchasing it, we researched the unit on the internet and found it to be highly reommended by most reviewers as a solution for clean power and protection from surges and power spikes. It has 8 rear power outlets and one in the front. The unit has blue and white lights on the front that look nice. I suppose they provide fuctionality to let you know that power is on but are unnecessary to its operation.

I wanted more than just a surge suppressing power strip, and less than a full power source line conditioner. What I received was a bit of both. A power conditioning center with a guarantee of $5mm toward loss (read the fine print and do what they say when setting up). I think that my components are now more protected from just surges, and this slim unit takes up very little room. It is extremely easy to set up and has enough outlets for everything I need.

Great surge protector. It is worth the extra money to protect expensive 4K tv and sound bar.

Keep all of cords nice and neat along with good surge protection in a rackable unit.

The unit looks good and all equipment is neatly plugged in and wires are not exposed. Unit easy to operate. Great purchase.

Bought on sale at Magnolia. Have always wanted a Panamax (local Bay Area company based in Petaluma). Set up was easy and the audio system never sounded better. I was using a surge protector bought from Costco. The Panamax simply beats it for the clarity of sound.

I wasn't sure if I really needed this item but the people at the geek squad strongly suggested that this be purchased to go with all the electronics on the wall. I couldn't agree more. It was a wise additional purchase.

According to the sales man, this surge protector does not degrade over time, yet is reasonably priced. All of your power cords are hidden conveniently behind the unit. There is also a convenience outlet on the front.

A great value on sale at 50% off. I now have 3 panomax units units in my home theater system. Great for helping manage cords that are easy to get to. Only wish it had dedicated high current plugs like my older Panomax unit. Very happy and great purchase.

Go into Best Buy's home theater department and you''ll hear the difference this component can make in your home theater experience and it will protect your expensive components too!! Well with the investment.

Great features and looks good too. I particularly like the line fault indicator which lights up if there is a problem with the wiring, which otherwise you might not be aware of.

So slim it stacks well on the receiver and such. Has a nice and neat appearance.

We purchased a new Panamax Surge Protector to replace the Panamax Surge Protector we had been using for over 20 years to protect our home theater and audio system. We live in a rural area subject to power outages, the Panamax worked flawlessly. We replaced it with a Panamax based on our prior experience.

Needed a good surge protector for my home theater equipment. This fit the bill because I didn't want to buy some lousy power strip that doesn't disconnect your equipment when a power surge comes through your house. Normal power strips do not do this so do yourself a favor (if you care about your equipment) and buy a quality surge protector to ensure proper electrical protection against fluctuations.
