Needed a Blu-ray/DVD player but didn’t need all the extra stuff like connectivity to the internet, smart features since I have that on the TV already. This unit does the job. Powers up and loads discs quickly and good quality.

By far Panasonic makes the best 4K Ultra HD players. Reliable, responsive and overall a quality product.

Love that Best Buy offers Open-Box items because people who are on budget can benefit greatly especialy for items like these.

Really great! This was a gift for my wife because she has all the Harry Potter films in 4k.

I love the small form factor and easy to use interface. I have a couple 4K UHD disks but could not play them until now. When playing them with this player, I really think the clarity is way better than streaming the movies. And being able to use the interface built into this device is way better than streaming services provide. It makes me sad that we have to accept lower quality video because the movie industry has stopped producing and selling disks. Now that I see the difference, I'll be searching around for 4K UHD disks to purchase before they are all shipped to history museums.

I had gotten into 4k discs when I got my ps5, but the laser on the PS5 kept skipping or having trouble reading some of the larger discs. I also think the picture it puts out is better than the PS5, but I can't quite put my finger on exactly what it is. This player is definitely much better than the PS5 at upscaling Blu-Rays though, they all look spectacular. I got this open box for almost half-off which doesn't hurt either! If you want to compare this to the other Panasonic players, the UB-420 seem to be basically the same as this but with streaming, which I would never need to use a blu-ray player for. I also think DolbyVision is not the ultimate experience and just clever branding, so if you really need the DV you may want to buck up for that UB-820!

Perfect in every way that matters. Outstanding picture quality on all of my disc from first generation dvds , blu rays, and 4k discs. Sound quality is so outstanding. I do t need streaming apps on a disc player as I use a smart tv . Wireless also not an issue.perfect player for my needs and I’d imagine most people’s needs . I’m going to be buying 2 more of these. At this price you definitely can not go wrong.

So far so good. Easy set up. Had to turn off the voice it was annoying.

Simple does what you want it to do with relative ease. Had some issues with the power button intermittently working. Remote is a confusing. Home button doesnt do what you think it would or it just doesn't work period i dont know which. I dont think the price is worth the item though. I thought once blue ray had been around a while the technology would go down in price.

My experience using this product is new for me for I never had a player that did so much. The quality of picture for 4K is superb and so is the sound quality. Blu-ray and DVD pictures are improved from their corresponding players. For the price I would definitely recommend. In addition, I bought mine as a open box and after a few months the player stopped working properly. I contacted Geek Squad and the manufacturer and I was able to receive a new player. *Expect some Good Use from this Product*

This 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player is simple and easy to use. For someone who is only interested in watching DVDs/Blu-rays and does not require Wi-Fi or extra features, this gets the job done. I have been very impressed with playback quality of 4K discs and also with the upscaling quality of old DVDs. The picture quality is crisp and clear. The remote is much smaller than the Panasonic remotes I have used in the past, but I have had no problem adjusting to it. Overall, this is not a fancy high-tech product, but if all you need is a basic player to watch movies, this is a perfect, affordable option that has surpassed my expectations.

Brilliant player for great price. Does everything I need and more. Not buying it for the apps, have everything I need on the tv itself, but the player is small, high quality, and perfect for my needs (High quality player for second room).

The Panasonic 4K BluRay player works seamlessly! It was fairly inexpensive and has crisp audio-visual playback. I definitely recommend!!

Easy to set up, connected easily, compact and versatile

Great player. Between this player and our 4K TV even our old regular DVDs are awesome and of course the Blu-rays and 4K are awesome as well. We're old school and prefer discs to streaming, We have a large collection of discs and it's like watching it's like watching something new again,

Bought this to go with new Samsung TV and replace an older model. It was easy to setup and use. Provides compact size design, upscales older DVDs, upscales BluRay to 4K and plays any CDs without issue.

DVD player is decent and easy to use. Doesn't connect by wifi to use with streaming apps
