Needed to upgrade disc player to 4K. Read reviews on this and decided to spend up vs cheaper players. WOW! Rarely are my expectations exceeded, but this player is amazing! Perfect picture, but the real surprise was the sound quality improvement over a premium Sony Blu-Ray player. You have to try it to believe it as descriptions in reviews don't do it justice.

Can't wait to hook this up to my Denon receiver and experience full 4K the Machine by itself does a great job

Works very well with my Samsung 4K TV.(8500 series). Amazing video. Only issue, two touch "button" areas for power and eject. Difficult to see. No mechanical buttons. Must figit with the top of the unit to see the power and eject button. Remote has all other functions. But, still love the player.

The Panasonic 4k blue ray player has excellent picture quality. The set up was easy, the menu is very intuitive. A great product!

As owner of a previous top grade Panasonic Blu Ray player, I was excited to see the new Panasonic in action. I had just purchased a few 4 K Blu Ray disks to start with. I already owned these titles on Blu Ray. First, I tried the 4K "Life of Pi". It is considered a reference disk on Blu Ray. Being well familiar with the video, I started up the 4 K version on my new Panasonic 900. The opening scenes, and progressing forward, knocked me off the couch, and overwhelmed me through the entire movie. The depth of color and detail were beyond any possible expectations. Beyond my ability to count, I saw things not visible before. The entire experience was truly outstanding. WELL DONE, PANASONIC!!! Other 4 K disks, "The Martian", Mad Max, and several other disks, continued to overwhelm me. I also tried out "Avitar" in 3 D Blu Ray, and it was rendered superior to my previous Panasonic. I am so pleased with my new 4K Panasonic that I wish I could give it 5 Stars. TAKE SERIOUS NOTE. 4K IS NO JOKE OR GIMIC. IT IS A VERY SERIOUS NEW TECHNOLOGY. I ADVISE JUMPING ABOARD NOW, AND USE THE NEW PANASONIC 900 TO TAKE YOU ON YOUR VOYAGE. NOTE: This model Panasonic can be had to find. THANK YOU TO BEST BUY FOR FINDING ME ONE.

This is a fantastic player. regular blu ray's look fantastic. just watched my first 4k blu ray....i couldn't stopped smiling. I usually spend 100-200 on a player....tried those, they were awful. dropped the 500 on this thing...really worth it.

Does a great job of upscaling older content. Both my wife and I can't believe how our older DVD's look. We're amazed that it's breathed new life into some older movies that were never offered in HD.

WOW, This is a fantastic high end serious BD player. If your not very tech. be sure and follow the directions. It will need the current firmware update, very easy to do. Outstanding video and audio. Loaded with features. Check out Mirrorcast with your smart phone. Get this unit, you won't be sorry.

Picture quality is excellent. Played everything I tried with no issues: HD and UHD. I haven't used the apps in the player because I use my smart tv's apps instead. Menus are easy to navigate and overall is user friendly

Our television moved to a location without an internet plug, so we had no Netflix or other internet connected to the television unless we ran a line across the room. This DVD player connects to the WiFi with no disconnections or disruptions.

This unit replaced an OPPO-103 that provided many years of good service. However, I recently upgraded to an OLED flat screen and noticed the quality of the image being played on the OPPO just wasn't quite right. I searched the internet for a replacement unit. The Panasonic came up on multiple sites as a recommended player. The unit was very easy to set-up and the image quality is great without having to make any adjustments. I like the fact that it boots quickly and thus far has received regular firmware updates from Panansonic. I hope that Panasonic continues to support this player for many years and not relegate it as a legacy system with no future updates.

This 4k player looks great and has a ton of settings that can be tweaked to your preference. It Upscales blu ray to 4k really well and native 4k movies look amazing. The overall design of the player is really nice and has a great appearance.

Been looking for a 4k player for my 4k tv and am very happy with this model. Easy to operate and picture quality is exceptional.

This player is expensive but I feel it is worth the money. It delivers a wonderful picture. I use both 4k and hd blu rays and it performs on both. Highly recommend.

If you have a 4K monitor, then this player will bring all of it's features alive. THX certified, (you will see cinema the way the producer's meant it to be) it is essentially ready right out of the box. On some sets, the brightness may be the only adjustment that you may want to make. There are three user-available special settings that can be saved to your liking. For your home network, it has MirrorLink, that will work with your ANDROID device, ( UUUH, check for IOS) with crystal-clear image and sound for your video ,photos, and steaming TV, given you have high-speed access.

High clarity sound, check out the mirrorcast setting for smart phones. This unit does it all fantastic video/audio alittle techie, read the setup and try the settings to get the hang of it . you will love this player.

This player is incredible!!!! It plays Bluray discs flawlessly and combined with a 4K Tv it is truly unbeleivable. It will make Blurays movies look almost 3D without glasses. 4K movies are just jawdropping. If you are looking for the best player out there and you can swing the money, DO NOT HESITATE, you will not be dissapointed

Setup was quick, smooth and intuitive, without constantly referring to the manual. Operation and video quality was very good, as expected from an high end Panasonic device.

This player does not only stream 4K content but actually plays 4K Ultra HD bluray discs. Set up is a breeze. Picture quality fabulous.

This bluray is miles ahead of others in quality. Probably the best i have owned, however the price tag is really high also. If someone wants true 4k, then this is the one.
