I really like this blow dryer. Upon taking it out of the box I noticed it really isn’t the lightest dryer I’ve had before but it’s definitely manageable. I was excited about the oscillating tip and to see how well that technology actually worked. It’s interesting to say the least. Once you snap the oscillating tip on you must slightly pull the end out so that the tip begins to go back and forth. I honestly didn’t see that it dried my hair on that side of my head any faster than using the concentrator tip on the other side. I do, however feel that my hair seems calmer and shinier on the side I used the oscillating tip on. As far as speeds and temps go, it has your usual high and low and hot, warm and cool temp settings. It has a good length power cord attached. I don’t have wavy hair so I cannot speak on the diffuser. For the price tag of $150 I feel it’s a good buy but not a great buy. I am concerned about how long the oscillating tip will hold up since it’s just a plastic piece flopping back and forth. We will see and I’ll come back to update my review in a few months.

Amazingly, I was able to dry my hair in 10 minutes! I have long hair, about half way down my back, not too thick. I stopped using a hair dryer years ago because it took so long to dry my hair. Instead I would twist it up, wrap it into a "bun" and leave it like that for 24 to 36 hours to dry. This dryer is light enough that I don't end up with soar arms from holding a brush and a dryer. I get nice straight hair. The real advantage is my hair isn't dry and brittle after using this dryer. Nice! The accompanying information says it has Nanoe technology that is supposed to infuse the hair with moisture rich ions. My hair had body and volume when I finished drying it. When I used a hair dryer before it came out flat and dull. Something must be happening with those ions! There are two speed settings and three heat settings. The diffuser attachment was great. Easy on/off and no broken finer nails. I was able to completely dry my hair in 10 minutes. Although I haven't had to do it yet, I like that the filter comes off the back so you can clean it.

Nanoe (hair dryer) technology is something I'm already familiar with, as I own a different brand of an earlier version of what was back then, a new type of hair dryer. However, there are many similaries between the one I've used for a while now, and this new Panasonic hair dryer. Overall, my own experience using this Panasonic Nanoe Oscillating Quick-Dry hair dryer was positive. My gently wavy hair dries much more quickly, and is far less likely to become static-y, frizzy, or feel 'dried out.' This is because it takes less time to dry my hair with the Nanoe tech feature. The weight of this hair dryer feels balanced in my hand as I'm using it, which is good. And because of the Nanoe technology, it takes a shorter amount of time to dry your hair, so you aren't going to need to be concerned about holding the dryer up for long periods of time, which can be tiring. And even at its highest settings, this hair dryer wasn't overly loud. This Panasonic hair dryer is well-made. It has a thick, sturdy, strong power cord, which is a nice long length, and the white pearlescent color of the plastic casing is very pretty. Now, while the oscillating motion of the attachment does distribute the air in a rhythmic pattern through your hair, it seems more like a "gimmic" rather than a 'game-changing' feature. The price of this Panasonic Nanoe hair dryer is, to me, a tad prohibitive. While it does the job, and should last a good long time with proper care, I would recommend considering to get one when it goes on sale. Besides that, it's a good hair dryer.

This hairdryer is supposed to use nano particles to infuse/preserve moisture significantly better than ionic units. So the air is processed through the dryer and spits out as moisturized instead of simply blowing dry heated air. I don’t see any difference in that regard. I do see a heavier dryer, which is not a plus. It tries to make up for the heft by having the oscillating attachment do all the work. It works, but I’d rather move my own hand with a lighter dryer. I found myself fighting with the oscillation instead benefiting from it. Imagine you are working to style a spot and pull away, but the head turns back to blow at the styled hair again. It’s frustrating. The one thing that does stand out is the cool shot. This is the first blow dryer I have used that actually has a working and targeted cool shot. So I can heat and cool-lock style with the dryer. That in itself is beautiful. The dryer is well made and obviously high quality. I expect it to last several years, and the heaviness likely has to do with quality parts and engineering. It does dry a little more quickly.

In the box is the hair dryer, diffuser attachment, oscillator attachment, concentrator nozzle and owner’s manual. First impression, I love the settings buttons, the diffuser attachment and the oscillator attachment. On the handle of the dryer, is the on off switch but the thing that I love is that there is a hot, warm and cool setting. This is great for me since I barely use the cool setting because normally I would have to press a cool shot button. There is a cool shot button if you still like using that setting. The diffuser attachment is another great feature because although it looks small on the box, it is actually a decent size. Also, the prongs are long in the middle and short on the outside. Pair this with the oscillator attachment and your curly hair will be dry in no time. I wash and conditioned, added my curling styling products and I used the oscillator tool to dry my roots and the diffuser tool to dry my ends. I have really long 3B hair and my curls fit great in the diffuser. I used less time to dry my hair with the warm air then I normally would with my old dryer and my hair was 80% dry. Since it was a nice warm day outside, I wanted to leave it a little wet to air dry. I can definitely see myself drying 100% during the fall/winter months, since it will be better not go in the cold air with wet hair. Keep in mind when you use the oscillator attachment, you attach the product to the dryer then pull the plastic part out. Push back in if you don’t want to use the oscillator setting. Another thing that I loved is the mesh area for the filter. When you are ready to clean, just pop off the air inlet grille and clean the filter according to the instructions in the provided manual. I also liked the nanoe feature. When the nanoe is working (by holding the handle on the panel, you will see a little blue light on the side of the dryer. When using the product to dry my hair, the light was on the whole time. My hair did have way less frizz each time I used the high warm setting with the blue light on. Overall, I can see myself using this hair dryer over my old dryer for sure, especially during the winter months. So far, I have no cons for this dryer since it has been working great for me so far. Would I recommend to friends and family? ABSOLUTELY!

Best hairdryer ever purchase light and fast my hair feels very silky

I have been reluctant to pull the trigger on a luxury blowdryer but I'm really glad that I chose this one because I do think it makes a difference. I just got my hair highlighted, after not touching it but to cut through the entirety of the pandemic. I say that to say that I feel like it's pretty delicate right now and this hairdryer did really make me feel like it was giving me a really good and quick blowout without doing any additional damage to my hair. My hair is just a bit shy of shoulder length and in using the warm/high setting, it was totally dry in under 10 minutes. I used the oscillating attachment first, to get air all through it, and while that thing looks a bit goofy, I really do feel like it does a great and natural job of drying the hair because it gets it to move around and gets air up under the heavy wet strands. Once it was about halfway dry, I switched to the concentrator attachment to smooth it out and I really was impressed by how good it looked to straighten my hair with only a blowdryer! I did use a straightener on the top layer just to fully smooth it (because I live in the south and its ALWAY humid) but I don't think that would be necessary at all if I wasn't rushing to get out the door.
