Being able to charge single cells (not paired up) is a big plus since I'm always dealing with 3 AAA's these days. However, from the start, it seems there's been one or another cell which won't fully charge (starts out fine, but after maybe 45 minutes, flashing LED means it's not charging). Nothing I do gets that cell to charge in my modern chargers. If that makes it sound like I'm blaming the charger for a bad battery, the Average rating includes the poor (totally lacking) response from Panasonic customer service to an email I sent 10 days ago. If they had responded promptly, I could have returned the charger and batteries to Best Buy (who now have only a 15 day return window for their non-paying members -- My Best Buy Plus™ or My Best Buy Total™ have a 60-day return window for most products) but that's another gripe for a different review. Back to the charger and batteries, I'm also not thrilled with the low number of recharge cycles (only 500) for the eneloop pro versus 2100 for their standard eneloop.
