Works well with a couple of minor flaws

I bought this for my cordless phone at my home office. It works well. People say they hear me well and I hear them quite well. Even with my big ears, it's comfortable enough even for hours and hours of meetings. Cons: well it doesn't have a very good noise reduction but that's to be expected at this price. The biggest flaw for me is that you have to hold down the mute button to stay muted. It be nice if the mute button was more of an off and on switch.

    Excellent Headset

I use the hands free headset on a daily basis. It works great for me, that when I am on the phone, I can continue doing my work on the computer. The only problem is the microphone, it is not very sensitive, so I have to speak louder each time I use it.

    Great Set for 20 Bucks

I have no problems hearing with this headset, and my customers hear me just fine. Tone and volume wise, this $20 set exceeds my $100 Bluetooth headset. Perhaps some of the people experiencing problems with this set should look at the phone they are using. I am using a Panasonic KX-TGA652 cordless 6.0 phone, and the sound is great with or without the headset. I would recommend this model without hesitation.

    Incoming Volume is Poor

I purchased this product from the local Best... electronics store on the 12th of June for just under nineteen dollars with tax and returned it within hours. The person on the other end could hear me just great. Unfortunately, I could not hear them and only read this as a common issue after-the-fact. I could deal with this issue if I was guaranteed to be in a quiet area a lot of the time, but it is not the case. With the volume on the phone and on headset turned all the way up, hearing the person at the other end of the call was just short of a whisper. My hearing is fine. The plastic ear hanger can swivel to allow for wearing it on the left ear or right ear. I didn't feel it was uncomfortable although a pain to put on and take off repeatedly. I felt it was flexible without being fragile. It's too bad this one didn't work out. If the incoming sound would have been just the slightest bit louder, it would have been a product I would be using. The clip to keep the cord out of the way can also be disconnected and adjusted to where along the cord you would like it to go. It also will swivel. I want to confirm the plug is 2.5mm. It was exchanged for the Rocketfish RF-HF22. The other brand is in the same price range and has good reviews at the place made my original purchase from. Hope this helps.

I deliver regular technical webinars (web-based training) and depend on a good-quality headset. Since I'm using a Panasonic phone (Panasonic KX-TGA101S), I bought a Panasonic headset. Normally, they build great electronics. Unfortunately, the microphone volume is too low on this headset and my students were always asking me to repeat things. I switched to a Platronics M214C headset which cost a little more ($32), but the voice-quality is substantially better. I did a back-to-back test with several people, and the Platronics wins hands-down.

I just purchased this headset and no sooner did I take it out of the package, it broke. It also doesn't have a range of adjustment and fits uncomfortably. I am returning this immediately!

Two problems: 1) the person I spoke to keeps saying my voice is VERY low; 2) MUTE button is a hold-type, not a ON-OFF switch.

I recently injured myself at work and cannot hold the phone for long periods of time. I thought this would be a good product to use in my condition. Unfortunately the volume set on its' highest setting is too low. I do plan on returning this item. I did like that the earpiece is adjustable and comfortable to the ear and hope that my next purchase will have this feature.

    Not Worth It

I too have a Panasonic phone and have always liked their products. So I bought this headset without checking any reviews. Bummer! First of all it was hard to slip over my ear. Actually, there was no slipping. I had to pry the ear clip from the speaker and then work it over my ear. And my ears are not unusual. It got better as time went on but then one day about 1 1/2 months after I bought it I was putting it on and the microphone arm broke. Now it dangles. Dangling means no one hears me. A month and a half is just too short a time for it to break.
