    As a beginner I guess this lens is okay. I've been only using it for a week. I have G7 camera the lens kit didn't do justice but this lens can be used for everything.

    Well, is just a kit lens, the problem is its aperture, Im more inclined to prime lenses, however, this lens went with the camera as a free lens. So, its ok..
