Bad expirience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When i first set up my TV it was great, but i started to notice when the camera moved passed objects the picture was glitchy and noticed a rainbow color (green and Red). I went to best buy many time within my 30 days and they convinced me that i was just not used to it. after my 30 days was i up i had enogh and called geek squad to come out and fix it. the guy that came out saw exactly what i was talking about. he ordered the parts and a couple weeks latger he replaced the parts. after they "fixed the problem" the picture became very cloudy and still had the rainbow effect when ob ject would move quickly on the screen. i see all the great reviews so i know i have a good product, but it has been such a ahssel since i've had it, it makes me not feel to confident. i hope these issues will finally get resolved as i spend a lot of time and money at Best Buy.

Very poor TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I watched normal TV one time for a few hours and now I have a permit burn of Fox 9. I thought this was a TV and to be used for TV watching. I bought this TV on 1/17/2013 and was pretty much told to pound sand resolving the issue. I also noticed leaving my netflix on for less than 5 mins leaves a very sharp Image retention but thank goodness that went away. After the Netflix issue I pulled off all my Gaming systems and just left a cheap blue ray player on it. Now I just use it as second TV for movies only, and used my $500 Samsung LCD as my main TV (From Radio Shack). Don't waste your Money on this TV if your a TV watcher or gamer. Purchase a LED or LCD I will never buy anything from Panasonic or Best buy again. This is what i got from Panasonic. I think when you have a list of things you need to watch for I think you need to buy a different TV. 1. Make sure the plasma TV is in a viewing mode (aspect ratio# that completely fills the screen. The panel is shipped in this condition, in what is called the "Just" mode. 2. Change the Picture Mode from Vivid to Standard or Cinema. Cinema would be best. 3. Briefly engage the 4:3 aspect and confirm the side bars are set to "Mid", or "Bright". This can be adjusted in the Set Up menu. 4. Always return the display mode that fills the screen #such as Just, Zoom, Full, or H-FILL#. 5. Try not to view channels with stationary backgrounds or logos for extended periods of time. 6. Avoid extended display of static images #video games, computer images, DVD title screens, etc.). No fixed image should appear on the TV for more than 15% of the viewing week.

Terrible (Panasonic) Customer service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this set black friday 2011 and it died christmas eve 2012. While it lasted I loved it, but I expect a longer run that 13 months! I am not an "extended warranty" type, I guess once bitten twice shy. I will go back to my trusy Sony units.. I have been wrangling with Panasonic customer service now for over a month. and my current repair bill is over $800 to replace 4 boards, of which they have offered to cover $350..How magnanimous of them! And yes all my electronics are on clean, protected circuits. Buyer Beware

Tv Gave Black Screen After Only 13 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Steer away from Panasonic Tv's. I purchased the Viera TC-P55VT30 and it died after only 13 Months. Panasonic said they would do absolutely nothing. Best Buy said the same since I didn't have a warranty with them. After paying $2300 for the set, one would think the mfg would stand behind their product. If you go ahead with your purchase after reading this, remember to look in the mirror when the tv goes black.

nice picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased my tv January 28,2012 watch it very little,on December 25,2012 the tv would not come on,four days later Panasonic sent out a technician only to find two power boards had failed and are on back order at least 4 weeks. Panosonic will do nothing for me as far as a loner or take it back for a new tv. I would STRONGLY recommend NOT purchasing this tv.
