Guillermo Del Toro does a fantastic job of creating a wondrous and imaginative escape for a little girl otherwise surrounded by a hostile environment during the Spanish Civil War. Heads up you will have to read English subtitles if you don't speak Spanish.

This movie is breathtaking The beauty and rawness is something I have not seen duplicated by any other movie or director including Toro. His unique vision and merge between horror and fantasy feel to come straight from an old Grimm tale but with the added insanity that is Guillermo del Toro. This movie is poetry

First saw this on HD DVD a few years ago and really liked it. It's a dark fairy tale like story just like the old stories were originally and before they were softened up for modern sensibilities.

Excellent movie that is easily one of my favorites. Although the subtitles may turn some people off, I definitely think this movie is worth your time, if at least for the beautiful visuals and effects. It's well worth buying because it deserves at least a second watch, although I have watched it far more than that!

The best of deltoro is here and it is beautiful very nice restoration a beautiful story heartfelt and also some nice action and fantasy

I considered myself a Guillermo del Toro fan before, but I had never seen his magnum opus, and what have I missed? This is a fantastic story, full with magic and horror. Looks decent on 4K

This is a must buy if you have never seen the movie. It's good to have a physical copy since this movie isn't always available to rent

i first saw this movie when i was too young to understand. i bought it and rewatched it now that i'm older, and i can fully appreciate it. this movie is not in english, so if you're not a fan of subtitles - this won't be the movie for you. however you would seriously be missing out.

4 stars because it has HD master audio 5.1... the blu ray had master 7.1.... why? Either upgrade to Atmos or at least have equal quality to previous version... the picture quality is best ever though and that's even more important for this gorgeous fantasy!

Don't worry too much about this movie being in Spanish. Reading the sub-titles are well worth what you'll get from this film. Incredibly acted, great story and though a bit sad, some good creepy moments will get you through. A Guillermo del Toro masterpiece! Check it out!

Movie is amazing, great visual effects and great story. How do you make an amazing movie better? Release it in 4K. Just remember it has subtitles... I mean unless you can understand the actors.

I’m a huge fan of this adult fairytale, it sits in its own category. PQ is very good (criterion has a rival version) Sound is also put to good use

I've heard this movie was good however I didn't realize how amazing it actually is especially with Adobe atmosphere I'll track you can hear the bugs all around you.

Pans Labyrinth is a gem that everyone needs to watch. Story is great, acting is superb, and the make up for this movie is flawless. No wonder it won so many Academy awards. Plus this is beautiful in 4K!!!

I've been waiting to purchase this on 4K media- it's shows amazing and it's such a great movie! Comes with the digital copy as well so you can keep watching it wherever you are.
