The criterion Blu-ray is much better And cheaper

This version is barely an upgrade from the original Blu-ray release. If you’re looking for just 4K quality I guess this is your best bet, but the criterion restoration was overseen by the director himself and has many great changes to the color grading to really make those colors pop. If you want to see pans labyrinth in all it’s glory I recommend the criterion collection Blu-ray, but this film is an absolute must see so see it anyway you can.
