Have waited a long time for this to come out on Blu ray. It was only Charlton Heston's second movie and he looked like a veteran. Real circus performers and on location filming enhanced the quality of the film. James Stewart plays a clown who never appears without makeup. A real treat was Emmet Kelly (the most famous clown) having a support role. Would have appreciated more extras!

Can't believe we waited this long to see it. Thank goodness Demille caught the Big Top before it disappeared.

I had this on vhs tape and about wore it out. Unfortunately it did not make the move. I am a big fan of Charlton Heston. This movie gives you a idea of how the circus people lived and all of the trials and everything they went thru. I remember going only one time to a circus when I was in grade school. I like seeing interaction between people and animals. Too bad that circus life is going by the wayside. I know that in real life not all circus people are/were like they were pictured in the movie. Great movie and entertaining.

This Best Picture Oscar winner takes you inside the world of the circus, a world that no longer exists in the form it did then. I was particularly impressed by the cinematography and color. When I had seen this before it was not with good projection. I watched it with someone who had never seen the movie before and he truly enjoyed it.

Saw movie when I was young it was so wonderful to see again.

Cecil B.De Mille movie. Great story about the early circus days. A shame they’re gone now.

This movie is awesome! If you love the old, grand movies you'll love this one. Charlton Heston and Betty Hutton are wonderful and since it is a Cecil B. DeMille movie you know they are tons of gorgeous scenes!

Fun movie. DVD looks good. Great price and artwork.
