To start with, I picked up this drone as it was the least expensive drone with integration with a piece of software I plan to use, Pix4D. I have not tested this yet, but using the "flight plan" phone app ($20) and the free software COLMAP and OpenMVS, I have managed some competent models. But, I need more practice. The Bebop's programmability using flight plan is very nice. It will happily go off and record the pictures/video you tell it to. I did find that there seems to be some sort of maximum waypoint bug that causes the software to crash. It was somewhere around 40-60 waypoints. The drone itself is easy to fly, though it only holds position +/- 2 feet or so, so no close quarters. The camera is the neatest part. It's a fisheye, but the software will take a section of the image and make a 1080 image. This allows you to look anywhere from ahead to straight down without moving the camera. Down side, the image is decent, but not great. Stick to full sunlight for photos. Safety: the Bebop 2 will stop the motors if a blade hits something to minimize harm to people and damage to the drone. Talking to others, this seems to be an unusual feature. Its, um, already paid off for me once.

This was my first time purchasing a drone. I didn't know what I was getting into, but all I can say is, it was easy, exciting, and entertaining. I love the take off and land feature. It hovers pending your command and has very responsive controls. I would definitely recommend for any beginner. Fingers crossed, I haven't crashed yet!

This is my first "Real" drone that isn't really just a toy. It takes very good video in HD and ok Quality Pictures but you have to have a decoder to use and get the true HD Photos (DNG) Only reason not 5 stars is there is no sd card option and flight time isn't as long as they say. About 12 minutes max unless you just hoover a lot.an additon battery is kinda pricey.plus when taking pictures or video you can only pan up and down..It's been very durable with a couple bad crashes.

I've owned the bebop 2 for about 6 months now and can say I am quite pleased with my purchase. It came with the controller which easily hooks via USB to your phone and also got the vr goggles with it all in a bundle. I will have to say be careful if you are flying near trees because a fall over 15 feet or more can cost you. I had to replace the central cross due to hitting a tree and found out the hard way it's not invincible! Very good drone overall with great picture quality and easy to use controls!

Easy to set up & operate flies great awesome footage

The reason why i got this drone for the second time is because of long battery life, stable full HD video and photo, great price, maneuverability, free FPV goggles, optional follow me mode & fast.

This is my first drone, so I was worried I would break it. However, this drone is very easy to control and I started getting the hang of it very quickly. This bundle was worth the money because for $500 you get a great drone with awesome features, the controller and the VR headset. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Easy to fly and handle, I used it to inspect property from above. The Parrot-Bbop 2 has many uses and fun too.

I bought this drone for the integrated FPV but later found it had much more to offer. the flight times are pretty consistent with what is advertised. and 25 min in the air is plenty. Buy an extra battery for cold days, if you capture a ski trip or the kids sledding the battery drains faster in the cold weather.

I'm really happy with my purchase. I did so much research it made my head hurt. I really wanted to get the best value for my money. The video is awesome and the drone flies really nice and stable. Watch plenty of tutorials online and enjoy the 20 minute flights. Can't go wrong with this one.

This is an EXCELLENT FPV Quadcopter (or drone) for beginners!!! Parrot has been making high quality quads for years, but this one is bundled with a controller (Some parrots are controlled by WiFi and the controller is an extra cost) PLUS it includes FPV goggles which work AMAZING!! The FPV feels like you are actually in the pilots seat of the drone and the video quality in the goggles is OUTSTANDING. Please note that you WILL need either an Android or IOS device to use the FPV goggles, but that isn't an issue for most! Lastly, this is an EXCELLENT value as it includes the FPV kit!! Pros 1.) GPS - One review says this DOES NOT have GPS but that isn't true.. This quad DOES have GPS which helps a lot with stable flight!! This helps the quad return to home on its own and allows for very accurate flying.. The GPS actually works VERY WELL with this quad!! 2.) Good Range - Range is dependant on weather you are flying with your Mobile Device or the included controller.. Range for mobile device should be around 200 - 250 FT but if you use the included controller, I have gotten close to 1000FT range!! Very VERY VERY GOOD Range!! 3.) HD Video Quality - 1080P HD video quality is excellent with built in software stabilization 4.) Easy to Fly - With the included GPS and other safety features, this quad is very easy to fly, even for new pilots.. 5.) Excellent Safety Features - If you are flying using your mobile device via WiFi and lose connection, the quad will return to home.. It will also return to home when its battery is about dead.. Also, if you just get scared press return to home and it will come home..

BTW, Best Buy's price was very competitive with you know who.. As for this drone, its my first professional style drone. My previous drones were basically toys and had none of the features of this drone. I've been flying this things for about 1 month and have not crashed because of its ease of operation. The picture quality is very good both live pictures and recorded pictures. If you're new to the drone world, this is a great place to start. Finally, I wanted to give a shout out to Both of the sales Rep that helped me with this selection. They gave me an honest informed opinion of which drone would fit my needs best.

This was my first quad... my first venture into a new hobby. After a ton of research, I decided that the kit the Bebop 2 came with was perfect for the price and that it seemed to fall between camera and performance quad. I understood that others could do each of those things better, but that this straddled the line serving both needs. That was true. Unfortunately, it just doesn't suit either need all that well. Probably a good enough deal for the money, but it just doesn't seem to be great at anything. I certainly feel like I should have spent a little more in the first place. The camera gets jello-like at anything beyond low speeds, making video I wouldn't be willing to post and brag about. It maneuvers ok, but doesn't feel particularly responsive. I outgrew this quad within a few weeks of purchase and am left seeing this as the one I will let other new people and kids fly, since I wouldn't feel all too badly if it were destroyed. At least I now know what I don't want in a drone. To end on positive notes, the battery does last well. It does always start up. And I was able to get in the 1600 to 2000 meter range multiple times before losing contact. That was far enough for me.

This is a great drone. It is easy to fly and does great in windy conditions. Video is good also. Not a fan of fish-eye pictures. I only had one issue when flying in the evening. It would not respond to return home. Luckily I was able to fine it after about 30 mins.

This is my first drone. Very easy to use, small and last a long time on the air. The video quality is decent, good with enough sunlight.

20 min flight time, handles wind well. Clear pictures and have gone to max legal elevation (499’?) no problems. 100’ elevation and 350 yards distance. Have not tried further (I keep it on my property). Also have flown from inside the house upto 350 yards without loss of control. Max speed of 54-55fps. The next level, as far as I have seen, would be an over $1K machine. The tech is good but don’t use return or gps options, as I can see where it is on my droid as I fly, and it’s hard to get lost in my “yard.”

I’ve wanted to get a drone now for a while but didn’t want to pay a ton of money for one. So when this one went on sale at $249 which was down from $399 I figured I would give it a try. This has definitely been well worth the money! I fly my drone with other friends that spent $500+ only for their battery to last for 15 minutes while the Parrot fly’s for about 25-30 mins!! All in all I highly recommend this drone to anyone as it also takes great pics and videos!

It is easy to fly. Picture quality is excellent. It has a gps. Battery life is ok only 20min.

I bought this drone after buying a cheap, hard to fly drone. My experience with the Bebop2 has been great. It is stable and stays in palce in the wind. With the controller is has a great range. For the price I think it is the best buy out there. I have even learned how to do front and back flips and rolls right and left (without crashing). In fact, so far, I am crash free. I've never been able to say that. GREAT DRONE!!!!

this was my first drone and im glad i got this one, super easy to fly, some many was to set it up for sport or filming, the follow me is great, the flight plan is even better, longest battery life that i know of, i get up to 25 minutes ,i bought mine on sale, great deal for the whole package.
