Customers are saying

Customers admire the MAMBO Quadcopter's ease of use and stability, frequently praising its user-friendly design and ability to withstand crashes. However, some users express concerns regarding the camera quality and short battery life, suggesting improvements in these areas. The small size is also noted, impacting outdoor flight performance for some. While many find it a good value, longer flight times are desired by several users.

This is a great drone and very easy to fly, and with the fly pad you really enjoy flying the drone. You get like 5 to 6 min fly time and I think is very easy to control, very stable when hovering, lots of fun if you have extra batteries

Got the kids a couple of these for Christmas. Couldn't resist a quad that shoots! Initial impression is good, not great. Design and construction, with one exception, are great. One of the springs came loose on a cannon after about 10 shots. The spring is what fires the cannon, so it's dead. The attachment point is hidden in the middle of the tiny housing, so I can't put it back on. Will see how good customer service is... Flying these is fun. The grapple works well. However, controls are pretty sluggish and unresponsive. It's a good thing for beginners, not so much for experienced pilots. Even with the pitch and elevation opened up, the yaw is painfully slow. The quad itself feels well built, with decent power. It's capable of doing flips and rolls, but only through preprogrammed buttons. Very forgiving - altitude holds well, leveling is quick. Automated controls actually better than user controls. Battery life is short, and not upgradeable. Parrot doesn't use standard batteries. You are stuck with using stock only. These are fun to play around with inside, grabbing and shooting things. I dont think these are suitable for outdoors. They aren't acrobatic, and too heavy for the little batteries they use. For the price, you can get a quad that flies far better than these, just not one that shoots!

It was a fun lil drone. Still is but a 40min charge or so only flies around for 6-7 mins! Kinda lame! maneuvers nice and you’ll get the hang of it quick About $100 or so.

this drone is just what I wanted - stable one touch takeoff and landing. Even my 93 year old dad can fly it because you can tune the sensitivity down.

I bought this one for my son 5 year old son and Protocol drone for our neighbor. This Parrot drone was exceptionally better than the Protocol drone. The Protocol drone was difficult to fly and took off without ever being found again in less than 24 hours of opening it. The Parrot drone was very easy to fly. Take off and landing modes work perfectly, which make any new user look like a pro. The attachments are great and add more excitement to ownership. We often fly it in the house with no problems. The cons of this item is the short battery life and low resolution camera, but for the money you can't find a better drone.

I have a Parrot Bebop 2(Big Boy Toy), but decided to get my son a drone as well. He 8yrs old and I must say I've been impress with the ease that he flies the Parrot mambo. It has protective hulls so I do allow him to fly indoors sometimes but where I most impressed is the stability of the drone. I also purchased the flypad( which is not a must) but very impressed. Batteries last roughly 7-8mins depending on how you push it so you should buy extra's.

I purchased this for my 8 yr old boy because he kept asking me to use my DJI Phantom Pro 3. Like that's gonna happen! He has been flying this thing all over the house and is really enjoying it. He is currently using an old android phone with the app to control this drone. I would have given it five stars if it wasn't for the really short flight time. Other than that small issue it's pretty good. Almost forgot, it does not handle too well in windy conditions.

My friend wanted to scratch his itch for a drone and the reviews pointed toward this one. I'm very happy I got it for him. It's fun to fly inside, but doesn't do well with any type of breeze outside (because it's so small). He does wish the camera was a bit better, but considering he doesn't fly it all the time he can live with that. I'd definitely recommend this as a starter drone or gift and would buy it for someone again.

Not the fastest but, most stable I seen. First flight I just turned it on in my living room and it pretty much hovered in place the whole time. Only issue I see with it is the battery life but, remedy is buy more batteries. With the battery life I still say the price is worth it. I'm in love with this drone. I can not wait till I can get the bebop 2 up and going.

I bought this for my ten year old son and he absolutely LOVES it! I've enjoyed playing with it too. It's easy to fly, does tricks, and the shooter works great. The only drawbacks is that I cannot get the claw to work properly and the flight time is a little short. Otherwise it's spectacular!

The quad is stable and worth the money. Only issues would be not having Skycontroller as it increases range. I have loved this one above many other but, will suggest buying bunch of batteries for extended flight time.maybe atleast 3. Also getting close to ground will make it unstable but, hey your getting it to fly in the air not on the ground.

LOVE it! so simple to fly! takes a couple of minutes to sync to your phone but its worth it! very fast and it can take a real beating! I took the blade protectors/cage off and it makes the drone so much faster! and i wont lie, i have flown at full speed into a wall (dont ask!) and it is still going! love it!

Very nice drone! Easy to fly, handled some hard crashes very well. Just remember to buy some extra batteries, and find someplace with a LOT of open space, and you'll have a good time.

My experience with this drone is with an iPhone. It's super easy to take off and land thanks to the assists built in. Flying is also very easy. I will say that camera operation is weak. I wouldn't buy this drone for picture taking. It'll get a basic pic in but you'll have to spend serious money for a good video/picture experience. Also, not great in the wind. It's small so flying indoors is ideal. Functionality and control is the main attraction of this entry level drone.
