+-*The mouse overall is well constructed with aluminum and plastic mix. The thumb extension works nicely for individuals with larger hands. Buttons are solid and well constructed. Software needs some work as the setting reset upon each r/eboot. RGB controls are nice too. Great gaming and general work mouse for the money. Corsair is a well known and respected company for computer products.

I went through about 4 different gaming mice before finding the one that was JUST right for me and that was the Glaive. I have semi big hands and majority of gaming mice are small that my wrist starts to hurt after awhile. I originally wanted the Hyper X Pro FPS cause I used it on the display machine they had and man was it comfortable but then this was on sale and had customizable grips which was the selling point for me. If you like the mouse to fit in your entire hand with being able to grip it then this is for you. Even if you like smaller ones you can switch out the grips to find what fits you best, my fiance changes out to the smaller grips when she uses and loves it too. She just uses the computer for homework and other stuff. lol Some reviews complained that it felt like cheap plastic or broke later, I bought the 2 year warranty so if that does happen I get a free replacement. Only $5 and solves that problem if it does happen. lol

This Corsair Glaive is a great budget gaming mouse. 5 DPI preset modes, RGB lighting and durable materials. Add the free Corsair software off their websitr and the mouse becomes fully customized. I would buy this mouse again if I ever need to.

Corsair is know to lack in areas such as aesthetic appeal in a lot of there gaming mouses. But today my friends Corsair has nailed it not only is this Mouse made with quality parts and the newest optical laser technology it has one of the best looks and feel to most mouses if not all on the market. This mouse is fully customizable RGB lighting as well as 3 easily changeable thumbs rests on the mouse and a quality braded cable to wrap it up. If you are looking for a quality gaming mouse for any games other then MMO's I would seriously consider this mouse.

I play a lot of FPS and the dpi toggle on this mouse is really nice and easy to adjust. The RGB was easy to setup and match to my other RGB products. I only wish that I was able to change the led color of the DPI toggle from blue.

I've used many different mouses, ranging from HyperX, Logitech, Razer, and I'm very picky when it comes to mice and keyboards. I've used the Logitech G402 for a long while, mainly because it was simple and comfortable.
The Corsair Glaive is:
-smooth on the surface
-low liftoff range (if any at all)
-feels heavy, but premium
-smooth rubber comfortable grip (demo @ bestbuy)
-ergonomic feel, however, I don't like the textured grip on right
-clicking sounds natural and feels pleasant
-somewhat heavy scroll wheel, slight silent clicks
-straightforward and nicely designed software
[includes= surface calibration, DPI, RGB, macro, misc settings (angle snap, pointer precision, response of button)]

I'd compare this to the Razer Mamba Elite, however I'd give this win to the Corsair Glaive.

Multi function mouse that can be program to what you need. DPI can be switched with one click of the button. Response of the mouse is excellent. Comes with extra types of grips for fingers on the side of mouse. Price point is spot on and a good bargain. Just plug in and you are gaming.

This is the first gaming mouse I have purchased. I like the simplistic design and the fact that there aren't a million buttons. It is bigger in size then a regular mouse and with my small hand it took some getting used to but now that I have I love it. I love the programmable lights and the way I can change the hand grip with ease. The fact that I can adjust the sensitivity depending on what I'm using it for with a simple press of a button is also great.
It was well worth the money for a mouse that I will be able to use for a long time!

There are a ton of different options to choose from when you’re in the market for a gaming mouse. Researching, testing, and finally choosing that perfect mouse can become very time consuming. I used a Logitech G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse for quite some time and I loved it. Unfortunately, it eats through batteries and I got tired of occasional wireless connectivity issues. It also made a weird springy noise when releasing the left mouse button that was audible in recordings. I record training videos professionally, so this was an obvious concern.
When I decided to buy a new mouse, my goal was to simply get an updated, corded version of the G602. Enter the G502 Prometheus which was exactly what I was looking for. I tried the mouse at a Best Buy store and BOING. It makes the same exact springy noise that the G602 makes. Be careful what you ask for. The G502 was too similar to the G602. I’m glad the mouse was on display because it was a huge time saver.
I then decided to choose based on style, sale price, available features, and reviews (not in that particular order). I picked the Alienware AW558 and the Corsair Glaive (both had nice discounts, good looks, and similar features). I have several Corsair products already, but I didn't want to buy Corsair based on brand only. After trying them both out, I liked (and kept) the Corsair Glaive because:
• Admirably high sensitivity options (up to 16k DPI)
• DPI on the fly button is easy to use (some caveats below) with 5 customizable DPI settings
• Mouse is very responsive for gaming and very precise for Graphic Design and Photo Editing/Retouching.
• 3 Customizable grips to fit your style. I use the no-frills, flat one. Work the best for me.
• Looks great. The lighting is nice and diffused. There are several areas on the mouse that let the RGB lighting shine through. Other RGB gear can have only one or two small areas for lights which make it seem like an afterthought.
• Buttons are solid and easy to reach (even the thumb buttons). The thumb buttons require just the right amount of pressure to activate and are positioned just above where you rest your thumb. No more potential for misclicks! (thumb button misclicks were occasional with the Logitech G602 and quite common with the Alienware AW558).
• The Glaive doesn’t have a funky, hand-shaped ergonomic design and this is actually fine. The mouse feels comfortable even after hours of use whether for work or play. If you set your sensitivity nice and high, you hardly have to move the mouse to get the pointer to go great distances even on higher resolution displays. Once you settle on the sensitivity that suits you, it’s almost like you’re holding on to air. A light touch is all you need. No more mouse death grip or constant mouse lifts. Note: I use the mouse on a QHD, 2560 x 1440 display.
There has to be a con or two, right?
• Most people complain about the CUE software. It has been improved, but there are still some issues. Saving custom settings is fairly easy—even saving your settings to the mouse’s onboard memory—but difficulties can arise if you have 2 or more Corsair items that use CUE or 2 or more custom presets—or both. According to Corsair forums, only some users have experienced issues managing multiple items/profiles in CUE.
• There are 5 DPI settings and it would be nice if there was an Up and Down button to cycle through DPI. With the current design, you have to cycle through sequentially with a single button (so going from 1 to 5 or 5 to 4 requires 4 clicks). Additionally, the current DPI setting does not stay lit on the mouse. The lights only function as you are cycling. There is no DPI lighting option in CUE for the Glaive. Since the lights are off by default, you can’t check what DPI setting you’re on by looking at the mouse. There is a thread about this in Corsair forums but no solution.
All things considered. This is a great mouse. It solved all the problems I had with my Logitech G602, which was my primary goal, and it has done much more. I thought going back to a corded mouse would be a burden, but it hasn’t been. The benefits far outweigh the smaller issues.

This mouse is really nice. You can adjust the dpi easily with the switch on the mouse, or you can set it using software. It comes with several different attachments for the side so you can choose which you like best. The mouse is large enough for my hands, which makes it very comfortable to use. The software allows you to put cool color schemes on the lighting built into the mouse. The cord is high quality. This is a really good gaming mouse and the kids love it.

My original Razer Orochi for travel with my laptop is slowly dying, so for $60 figured I'd test this out, and its great! Was able to test feel the mouse at the store, which is nice cause I really liked the feel, and it comes with 2 more adjustable left sides for added comfort. The software takes a bit to figuring out, but it's super slick with all the lighting controls. DPI toggle switch is a boon as well, just be sure to find the default setting in the software.

The mouse feels good in the hand. Extra grips to change the feel. I like the big thumb. Anyway, LED is nice. Pirate ship, I mean Corsair Sails ... a nice eye catching touch. DPI blah blah. It is a very nice mouse. Braided cable, 3 zone LED, large bottom pads... man this mouse is great. What else can I say... texture and weight are very nice. No need for anything else.

The buttons are great to use, especially for someone like me with tendon damage which makes it difficult to hit some keys. The iCUE options are nice as far as coloring goes. The DPI settings are adjustable so that's another plus. Decent weight and a few thumb grip attachments make it easy to find your fit.

Corsair really hit it out of the park with this mouse. This being my first gaming mouse I wasn't too familiar with the differences between original mice and gaming. Lucky Best Buy had a whole isle dedicated to gaming mice. Messing around with all the mice on display the Corsair one got my attention. It felt the most natural to me and the RGB lighting really sealed the deal. Corsair's software really allows you to truly customize it to your liking.

No complaints with this mouse. Great clicks, useful and non Invasive side buttons are awesome, and the changeable thumb rests was a great idea. Software is really good, sometimes it forgets my mouse is plugged in requiring me to unplug and replug but the software makes it easy to program DPI adjustment levels and lighting affects of the mouse. Weight is good, not too light a bit on the heavy side. Solid for CSGO to Total War.

I mean.. it's a Corsair product, so of course it's gonna be great. But if you're looking for specifics, this mouse feels really nice in your hand, and is extremely responsive and precisive which gives you a nice edge in the most competitive of games. The Glaive comes with 5 different DPI settings, all customizable to your liking through the Corsair app, and it comes with three magnetic grips so that you can completely control how you play. The cord on it is durable and braided, and of course, there's a nice RGB finish, which is also customizable through the Corsair app.

Being able to change your sensitivity on the fly is important to me. This is a convenient feature when switching from different video games like HotS to Destiny 2. I have a smaller hand and this mouse fits comfortably.

Just built a new PC, and was looking for additional peripherals. Love Corsair products as they are always of the highest quality. This mouse did not disappoint. Buttons are extremely responsive. Really like that you can customize the different grips to suit different size hands. Lighting effects (RGB) are a plus, but not the reason I purchased it. Corsair Utility software is extremely user friendly, and easy to sync across other Corsair peripherals (i.e. mouse, headset, mouse pad, etc.)

This mouse caught my eye for it's design and price. I went to my local Best Buy store who had it on display and liked how it felt so I made the purchase. Mouse works, looks and feels great. Definitely a steal if you get it on sale. I initially was looking at getting the Corsair Scimitar, but figured I probably did not need all of those buttons. Having the GLAVIE now I do not miss the extra buttons -- there are enough on here for gaming.
