This is a great family movie to be watched by all...

Rome, AD67, just recently half burned to the ground by the hand of Emperor Nero, finds Paul in prison who had been charged for the cities burning. Luke came to Paul, while he was interned in the Roman Marmot Prison in Rome, to visit his friend to record the history and story of Paul. The pairing of Jim Caviezel (Luke), Oliver Martinez (Mauritius – the Roman Prefect of the Prison) and James Faulkner (Paul) – all of who had a penchant for realistic and sensitive acting, were coupled with a understanding and insightful Director that made for a superbly memorable viewing experience

Straight to the point and very good cinematography

I thought this movie was a little so and didn't cover his life very well.

Is a great movie , the story is about the apostle Paul

Many movies with Christian themes have not been well made. This is not one of those. This movie was very well done. It's about the Apostle Paul's later life in prison and his influence on the Christian community from there. Another major part of the story is the relationship between Paul and his companion and writer of the Book Of Acts Luke. The film is emotionally gripping, and gives us a sense of Paul and Luke as persons. The story is not a recitation of scripture, but is an excellent historical drama,

Wow! this is amazing to see this Paul kept his faith and refuse to give his faith with Jesus up. Most Christians and Catholicisms understand what is point of views on St. Paul story. However, in general people don't understand this movie enough. There is summary movie and it is not long story. There is hard to understand what is point on this movie. I suggest that you watch this movie frequently until you get this. Yes, I do recommend everyone to get this movie

The film brings Paul to life and sheds light on the life of the early Christians in Rome. The main characters and supporting cast are well acted and the result is an emotionally gripping film. Some argue Paul is more of a supporting character, but it is more about Paul's influence on the Christian community and others rather than a story about him per se, since he was in prison. Really enjoyed it!

I will not turn this post into a sermon, but for those of you who believe, you will be enriched. For those of you who do not believe you will understand what it is all about. My humble attempt at words to describe this film is not possible. Instead I say to you all watch and feel. I am so glad movies like this are being made and distributed on a large level. Spread the word.

For many, Paul and Luke are the revered figures who authored of parts of the New Testament. We may know some of their story and some of the words they passed on, but not really have much sense of them as persons. This film is obviously not Scripture, but making use of the Scriptures it strives to give us some sense of who they were and why their faith in Jesus inspired them to be willing to sacrifice themselves.

I have bought multiple copies to give to others. That's how powerful this movie is. For those who read the Bible - you will never look at the Book of Acts or 2 Timothy the same. I was challenged in a way that made me ask the question: If I were imprisoned 2,000 years ago for my Faith - how would I have acted?

I watched this with my pastor and it was very enjoyable to see how they explained the time period and the sacrifices that were made. I don't know if this would be ideal for someone to just pick up off the shelf, but for a person with faith its enjoyable.

My wife and I enjoyed the Paul movie very much. There were some liberties taken, of course, but the core of the movie made you appreciate what life was like for Paul and many first century Christians. Very happy with the purchase!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this film about the Apostle Paul and his companion and writer of the Book Of Acts Luke. The actors were great and I would recommend this movie to anyone interested in its historical accuracy.

This film does an outstanding job of making Paul’s final days and Rome at that time come alive. And the ending is both dramatic and inspired. I wept more than once watching this film—yet they were tears of joy and hope.

This movie was very well done, Did not stray from the truth and the acting was first class. This movie should be an inspiration for all who see it, we are weak human beings but with God's grace we can do great things.

The movie has some biblical inaccuracies, but that happens in a lot of bible based movies. With that being said, it really reminds people that Paul and Luke were people with emotions. Kind of putting a face and voice to the scriptures. Overall, I enjoyed it.
