The computer has performed flawlessly in the eight months I have had it. It is speedy and absolutely quiet. So quiet that that I don't even notice it is on. The fan is efficient and there is no significant heat build up.

I see the other reviews but I don't agree, I bought this and have been very happy so far! Some towers are built like a laptop inside, this unit has a regular power supply and seems to run quiet very fast, so far I like it no problems!

Picked this up as a preblack Friday deal for $300 off and its a monster for the money. Blazing fast and lots of space. Purchased for my parents and its was more than they need, but worth the extra money vs a cheap machine.

Very fast computer, price is great, didn't give 5 stars because the first computer crash the same day, but I returned to Best Buy and customer service was very helpful, no issues since then.

I had written an initial review of this product but bestbuy has no history of reviews like Amazon does. I cloned the win 10 (home) OS on an SSD and this PC worked well until it stopped working after 11 months. I Spent 60 minutes on the phone trouble shooting the issue with HP support in India. It turned out to be a bad 8GB DDR4 DIMM. They (HP) would not just send the replacement DIMM to me, I was told by HP and Bestbuy I had to ship the entire box with my data, keyboard, mouse and power cord to replace a memory DIMM. Gone are the days of convenience, trust and customer respect. last HP product I will ever buy.

I love this computer. Bought it for my business and home office. I’ve always used HP desktops because they are the best. The most reliable and fast computers I’ve owned. My only gripe with this one is it seems the DVD drive in it doesn’t work very well. I don’t use it that much but if someone wants to watch movies on it or listen to CD’s (for those of us who still know what those are and have them) this particular one doesn’t work too well. By the time I realized this issue it was beyond the 1 year warranty period and I couldn’t exactly afford to send it off to HP and not have it for a month or so.

As long as you take good care of it, it lasts pretty long. This one is a few months shy of three years. I've moved around three times already and it still feels good as new. Overtime, it does start up a bit slow. However, still faster than my work desktop at the office so I'm pretty satisfied. The only downfall is with all the modern and advance techs, this one can only support one hmdi and one vga. I had to buy a USB to vga adapter to get my three monitors at home working so I can do some work, and not just college work anymore.

Computer is very fast and very quiet. There are two memory slots one with a 4GB and one with an 8GB memory stick. Can increase the memory of the pc to 16gb

This computer is a great deal. We bought this machine to handle video streaming and for storage knowing that it will last and perform for years.

I enjoy this desktop, it has all the power,space ,speed that I need ,in addition to making it a dual boot partition , Hyper V is good to make a VM.

HP is highly rated PC and in Technology mfg., etc. Is widespread in Texas! Awesome PC with great speed with I7 processor. Stylish chassis!

So far so good. Very easy to set up. The processor speed has been great so far as my main reason for this purchase was video editing.

HP Pavilion desktop is not the top line compared with Envy and Omen. The case is smaller. The DVD drive is compact. The power supply is only 175 watts. The i7 processor is not the top of the line. However, the price on Black Friday was very attractive. The performance is not bad. My kid seems to be happy to use it to play PC games although there is no dedicated video card. The power supply does not seem to be too noisy as some reviewers indicated. I plan to put in a bigger power supply and install a video card.

Was in need of a new windows based computer and this HP unit fit the bill. I was able to purchase it for $499 at Best Buy in November 2016. It has one of the faster processors, but there is no room for expansion inside the case. I wanted to add an additional hard drive but that won't be happening - No other connections available for a SATA drive. This is a nice machine that works as described. Probably not good enough for gamers, but for the home user or small office environment, this will do nicely.

The desktop is noisy. I have to tap on it for it quiet down. Maybe it's the fan or something. Decent desktop for a good price.

After reading many reviews on this HP, I learned it was a better PC than one with higher amount of memory. I also liked that the USB ports were on the front of the machine instead of the top facing away from me. The only feature I did not care for was the cd/dvd player since it sits vertically instead of horizontally. It seems it is flimsy and the platter faces away from me, so I have to over reach to place or remove a disk. That is why I gave it a four star rating instead of five.

I received it in the mail and it did not work. I tried chatting on line with qeek squad and the person was very rude. I returned the 1st one to the store and ordered another one delivered to the store. I had the qeek squad at the store do an initial start up. They were very helpful and friendly. I have had no issues with the new computer. Totally would recommend it. Have it delivered to the store and have them set it up. I would not recommend chatting on line with the geek squad.

This HP is an amazing computer, not only is it faster than anything I've ever owned, it also quieter and easier to use!

We were impressed with the easy set up. The computer is performing very well and we are very happy with our purchase.
