My son and I use this headphone for Xbox one gaming. The sound is very good and the headset feels very good also. The light up earpiece is kind of cool at first but it eats battery life and is distracting in a dark room. I was also disappointed to find out that the connector for an Xbox one controller to this headphone is not universal to the Xbox 360 or other typical audio components, so this headset his almost exclusive to the Xbox one only.

I only have used the headsets that have come with my Xbox so not sure if it will help much. It felt tight and made my head and ears sore after using them for a few hours. I have used them for a bit now and they are not as bad. The controls can be finicky if you unplug and replug in the headset the volume from the tv goes back up high and you have to turn it down. I don't like the volume really loud but it seems to be very good at the higher volumes I didn't notice any distortion. I hope this helped

Had these for over a month now. Love the sound! Also like the amount of cushioning; I can wear these for a few hours before needing a short break. I prefer this microphone's boom over the one on the AX-9: it's easier to position where you want. As for the color... my headphones came in black/blue instead of black/green! SOOO sick of Xbox Green!

This headset is well priced and worth it all. It's very confortable as well. The headset runs off the controllers battery and you can't really tell the difference of how much battery gets used.

quality sound and and comfort. lot of bang for your buck and like better than turtle beach model of equal price.

Pros: they go bump, and light up if you are into that. You can turn off the power sucking light though. Cons: a bit heavy and they light up.

For those of u that have not purchased a xbox1 be aware, u will need a back up Mic after the first 3 months of using the headset provided with the kit. With that being said my wife got tired of me talking into the Mic like those cell phone commercials, " can you hear me now?" So she decided to get me a new headset. She chose the afterglow, I will say it serves its purpose my fellow gamers hear me loud and clear, the best thing about it is that it's not hard to use and not many buttons/switches on the headset either. It is a purchase I am not disappointed in.

My grandson chose this particular headset over several others. Used his Christmas $ and I added more for his birthday. He says they are awesome, comfortable and excellent sound. I agree! There are cheaper ones but not as good overall. He's 13 / good taste.

Sound is great but that's where it ends. Headphones are heavy and uncomfortable. The plastic cross piece that sits on top of the head looks like it's going to snap soon and it's only a month old. The harness that attaches to the controller is difficult to insert and often hurts my hand.... But the sound really is great :(

I've done a lot of research on a good set of head phone that are still reasonably priced! I'm in love with my head gear comfortable perfect sound to the stylish light effects this is a must have!!!

I can play my games loudly without annoying my Mom. The headset is very comfortable & sounds great.

MY 13 YEAR OLD USES THESE WHEN GAMING, WATCHING VIDEOS ON HIS SMARTPHONE AND WHILE WALKING ON THE TREADMILL TO LISTEN TO MUSIC. HE SAYS THE SOUND IS AWESOME.

These are seriously the best gaming headsets I've purchased. They're easy to set up, comfortable, great sound and convenient controls.

The product does its job of working for Xbox is keeping off the noise so you can hear people on the other end and like the way it shows up at nighttime when it is darker. Solid set of head phones that are better than the ones I replaced that broke.

I purchased these when they were on sale a few months ago after considering a few other brands/ models. At the time choices were fairly limited for the functions I wanted to work with Xbox One. This model has some nice features and overall I like the look although it is a big large. That is the main con it's quite heavy despite initially being comfortable it will start to become uncomfortable depending on your tolerance. The sound quality was rather impressive for a wireless model that attached through the controller interface. I do question overall durability based on others' reviews.

Bought this for my son for Xmas. He had other headphones before and they kept breaking. The sound quality is great for the price and you get full surround sound. I would buy again.

This is the 2nd time I have had this kind of headset and I have been very satisfied with both of them. The sound is clear and works great for the games that I play.

I bought these headphones for my boyfriend for Christmas, he had to update them with his Xbox one to get a clear sound. Once updated they are phenomenal despite the picture the headphones sent to me have a blue light up on side with a ON/OFF option. My boyfriend never hears me yelling anymore lol Glad I got my money's worth! also worth it to get the 2 year warranty.

Quality sound. Very comfortable. Microphone is acceptable as well.
