I got this remote to use when watching a movie instead of the controller. I gave a 4 star because I cannot use to change the volume on the TV. It works for some people but not for me. Oh well.

Fully functional for my x box one. Also controls backlit on a simple movement of the remote.

I use my Xbox One X as my primary Blu-ray player and found it annoying to navigate the menus of my movies with my gaming controller, which is where this came in. It's very useful and connects automatically to my Xbox. It also saves me from having to keep the battery of my controller in constant use to pause the movie. Only drawback is how annoying the controller lights up every time you pick it up. It senses movement.

I like this Xbox remote better than the previous one and it hooks up easily.

I was skeptical at first about this remote for the Xbox console, then I got and used it for a few weeks now and makes using my Xbox as a media center in my room simple and easy. The only thing about I am still trying to figure out is if there is a way to turn on my TV with this remote. Outside of that, it is great, was really easy to set up and within minutes I was able to control the Xbox and the majority of controls on my TV.

I bought this remote to control my Xbox One S to work with my Video apps like HDhomerun, Plex, Kodi. It does work. Changing channels, volume on the TV, pause/ fast forward. The manual is very sparse. Had to look up on the internet on how to pair the TV to the remote. Hint you need to go to support.xbox.com to learn on to do that. Price was great at Best Buy and was in stock at my local store. Better than purchasing from the Amazon people.

Lights up when you touch it so makes so easy control of the Xbox in the dark. Great option to control the Xbox without having to turn on a controller and waste the battery. Only downside is you have to have direct line of sight between the remote the Xbox (the remote has to be pointed at the Xbox and there can be no obstructions between remote and Xbox.

Not the best range but the remote does what it needs to makes navigability movies easyier

Has made life in using the non video game apps much better. Plus it saves me from having to not charge or replace the batteries in my controller religiously.

Im saving on a lot of battery recharges for my controller now that i can use this instead when watching netflix/hbo/media player. Light up buttons make it easy to see at night. Plenty of buttons for different commands. You need to buy a separate IR cable to control the volume, which I havent purchased yet. Reception is good, not great. You have to make sure the remote isnt obstructed and is pointed towards the xbox. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

I purchased one of the new SUHD Samsung tvs and it was recommended to me that I also purchased on Xbox One for the ultimate streaming clarity. I ended up purchasing the all-in-one remote because my Samsung remote had only a couple buttons on it and I couldn't figure it out. I love my new remote and by turning it on, it automatically turns on the Xbox. It works very easy and is user-friendly.

Way better than using the regular controller. Great price and its backlit which is ideal.

I bought this item while I was using Shopkick at my local store. It was on sale for $14 and I've been watching a lot of TV on my xbox and thought a remote might be useful. This thing is seriously impressive for what I paid for it. It feels high quality and has motion activated backlights on the remote. It's been a treat to use while watching TV shows on my Xbox One X

This remote is perfect for people who use an Xbox, for movie, tv-shows, and video purposes, without having to use the original controller that is designed for gamers. The only problem is that the controller must be directly pointed at the Xbox console in order to work. Thus, if there is anything blocking your system, it should be moved to make way for this controller's connection.

I would recommend this over the Xbox one media remote because it has a lot more uses vs the Xbox one media remote where it has really limited uses.

This remote works great does just what I wanted. It allows me to use my Xbox 1 to watch many of my favorite streaming services without the need of having my controller in hand it's very user-friendly and does not have as much battery consumption as controllers if you have an Xbox you need this controller it will make your streaming life easy
