I had amazon no name smart bulb for cheaper. Color mode was way brighter.

I couldn't connect them to my wifi. Its not what i expected.

Setup was easy enough, although I thought the switch off-pause-switch on five times was odd. Fortunately, that is only necessary of the initial pairing between the bulb and mobile device doesn’t occur. These bulbs are not excessively bright by any stretch, but I would like if they could go a little dimmer, for use such as ambient light while watching TV. The color range and intensity (or lack thereof) is impressive. The “Peace” app is nicely designed. Setup is clear and easy, as are changes to existing devices, rooms, etc. It was disappointing that the Peace app doesn’t integrate with the Apple Home system.

These bulbs aren't the easiest things to setup. It took me multiple attempts for my phone to "discover" the bulbs. Further complicating the issue was that I was trying to install two bulbs into the same overhead fixture. I finally got the one bulb to recognize and install, inserted the second bulb, and then ended up resetting the first bulb in my efforts to get the second bulb to install. Ultimately, I did get them to install, and they seem to work well. Using the app, you can make fine adjustments to the color and white point of the bulbs. The colors seem quite a bit dimmer than the standard white light, but it will still make for a fun little accent during holidays and the like. I accidently flipped the power switch after installing, and I was terrified that they'd struggle to reconnect to my network like some other smart bulbs that I've tried. Fortunately, they managed to reconnect themselves just fine after only a couple minutes. I'm pleased enough with the quality of these bulbs, but the installation really isn't for the faint of heart.

I use Phillips throughout my home for smart lights and wanted to try something without a bridge. These look like simple 60 watt bulbs but when you download the accompanying app, they turn into smart lights that can change color or turn off and on with voice recognition. The problem with smart lights, they are just never bright enough for my liking and these get bright to about 55-60 watt maybe. They are cool gadgets seeing you do not have to pair them up with a bridge and Hampton is a pretty reliable name. I am sure I will get good use out of them.

I like these bulbs and the App to control them. The bulbs work great and the color ranges are really good. The app is pretty straight forward and easy to use. You can set up schedules, control the colors, and even turn them on and off. I really like this product!

I like that you can group the lights however you want and control the color brightness of those groups independently. Also the shades of white are what make these useful since you can go from bright white to a softer candlelight tone if you prefer. The only issue I have with these is that when you change to a core, the brightness goes down significantly. Hopefully this can be fixed through an update though.

I have tested a number of different smart bulbs with a range of success. I would say these by Hampton are near the top. Once you get through the quirks of setup (namely making sure you are connected to the 2.4ghz -not the 5 ghz - band of your wi-fi) these light perform well and are responsive. The colors are vibrant and the white spectrum gets decently bright. They also integrate well with google assistant without the need of an additional hub.

These "smart bulbs" are easy to use and add a bit of fun to your lighting. They screw into any standard light socket and connect via Wi-Fi to the Peace app on your Android or iOS device. Setup is easy using the app. It's also easy to use the app to control the brightness and color of the bulb. Normally I would complain about having to install yet another app to control yet another "smart home" device since I already have over 50 "smart" devices from a half-dozen different manufacturers and each one requires their own app to set up. The saving grace is that all this stuff works great with Alexa, so I can use that to unify control for all the devices, schedules, parameters, etc. Only need the proprietary app to set up the devices initially. These Hampton bulbs are as bright as a regular 60 watt bulb when they are set to display a shade of white. However, when choosing to display a color other than one of the shades of white, the brightness is significantly reduced - more like a regular 25 watt bulb. I don't see this as a problem, just something to be aware of. Since it's Halloween season now its fun to say "Alexa, make the smart bulb orange" and have the lights change to orange just like that. Will also be fun for other holiday seasons. If Hampton could integrate their app with Samsung's SmartThings that would make this a 6 star product!

Was in the market for some "smart bulbs" to add to my existing home network. I have other items (plugs, assistants, etc), but wanted to get some bulbs for other rooms. So I thought this might do the trick. Here is the reason I am not able to use them. 1. only works on 2.4 Ghz wifi network. So my mesh (2.4/5 Ghz) system can not be used since it "meshes" together the signals. I am not sure of anyone that does not have a newer router that is only 2.4 Ghz. 2. Upon plugging in the bulb and turning it on. It started flashing 2 blinks a sec and gave me a headache almost instantly. I would not recommend for some with light sensitively or subject to seizures. 3. Unless you type in exactly what the app name is, you will never find it on the playstore. 4. App will not work unless you create a account for the company, use a activation code, turn on location services on the phone, and in my experience a phone that is using 2.4Ghz wifi connection to your router. So sadly I must pack it up and try to find someone that has a older router/wifi system or else it was a waste of money. I was not able to get any of the 4 bulbs setup on any lamp, room, or available network connection in my house. Also the company website did not offer any troubleshooting for this issue except emailing a team the was "on vacation" and would reply back when back in the office.

This is a no brainer, For the price, this is a great value. Super to set up and use whether you have home automation or if this is your first venture. I have a google home with many products at my command. First I downloaded the app from Hampton. It was super intuitive and I had color and brightness control at the tips of my fingers. Then I opened my google home app and joined the lights to it, assigned rooms and I now have voice control not only of on, off, and intensity but also can say "hello google, turn xxx to green" and just that easily I have green heughs flooding the area. This is a great addition to my space and if you are looking to put some color into your home this is a great way to achieve your goals.

These are my very first "smart" lightbulbs, and they are pretty awesome! After downloading the app and connecting the bulb to your WiFi, contorlling the bulb colors and different "types" of lighting one may want are as simple as using a very "user friendly" app. Set up for me took only about 5 minutes, and then I spent a good amount of time messing around with it. Additionally, after set up, you also don't want to bother with the app. You can connect the bulb to an Amazon device and turn it on that way, too. I can't wait to use these year round for the foreseeable future for parties, different seasons and holidays, as well as when watching my teams play during their seasons.

The technology is amazing, to be able to simply verbally tell our Google Assistant to turn a specific light on or off and or to dim it is worth its weight in gold, especially when in bed and you don't wanna get outta bed to turn off the light when you're ready to go to sleep.
