Great watch if you switch between iPhone and android phone. That was the reason for me selecting this brand and it was not $400 like some of the other smart watches. Cons: It disconnects when out of Bluetooth range and it take a short while for you to reconnect it back to your phone. It is like pairing a new device other than that no issues. Pros: This is device is really good for notifications and caller id. That is my main purpose for it. It is great not having to pull out my iPhone 6+ every time my phone goes off. You have multiple apps you can load on the phone but they are just okay nothing really wow.

I purchased my black pebble steel with high hopes and low expectations! Boy was I wrong. It has a good balance of all things a smartwatch should have. Waterproof, battery life, looks and function. It vibrates to let you know when you are out of Bluetooth range and when you are back in range, vibrates and shows text and email messages and lets you see a caller and accept or decline a call. The app store is good and growing with an open source approach, I love this thing way more than I could have imagined! it wakes me up with a vibration every morning. It is fairly addictive!

I was using a Fitbit and I wanted to be able to be able to tell time with the same device. I would either wear the Fitbit or my watch so I decided to find a smartwatch to do both. I did some research, and decided on getting the Pebble Smartwatch primarily due to the 6-7 day battery life. I was thinking about the Apple Watch, but it was really expensive and I don't want to have to deal with charging it every night. There are lots of apps, but I have only tried a few so far. The ones I have tried have been great though. I would highly suggest this for someone who wants their watch to do more than just tell time.

The only feature left out of the watch is a microphone for voice commands. I knew that when I bought it though. I use it to control my music in the shower and while driving. Also handy to view texts while I am at work. This does work perfect with my moto roadster 2 in the car to see who is calling before I answer it on bluetooth. Battery life is amazing too as I only charge it once a week or so.

I absolutely love this watch! While in at work or driving all the notifications from my phone are sent to the watch. And the battery lasts for 5-6 days and the watch is waterproof.

I was looking for a watch that gives me notifications without having to look at the phone. This works very well for that purpose. Lots of apps available. I also bought the steel link watchband. Watch looks great...battery life is superb. I easily go 4 days between charges and probably go more.

I recently purchased a fitness band... it missed steps so I returned it. Purchased a Samsung watch/band... returned it because it was awkward to read and did not have a second hand (I'm a nurse I need second hand)... finally got a pebble steel... omg...perfect! I have accurate steps, a second hand and basically a new watch face whenever I want... i can reply to rests on the fly, see my emails, control my music from my wrist, and best of all get directions while I'm driving my motorcycle!! Oh by the way... step counts are spot on and the sleep tracker apps are awesome... battery life is a full 7 days with normal use... some weeks I get 5 days but recharging happens while I shower in the morning if needed.

Really like the watch. Very stylish but also vey practical. Pairing with my iPhone is very easy but occasionally it will drop and need to be reconnected. Only thing I don't like about the watch is the non-standard band. I'd be nice to have the same still band as normal pebble.

I just recently upgrade from the original pebble to the pebble steel and I LOVE IT! I love the feel of the buttons on the face, which is a big improvement over the original. And now that it comes with gorilla glass you don't even have to worry about scratching it up. If you're worried about it not being in color, think about it this way. Because it's not in color you get amazing battery life out of it. Mine last about 5 days connected to my phone with alerts for my calls, whatsapp, text, calendar reminders and custom screen. I highly recommend this watch.

I Love my pebble steel. I bought the stainless steel wristband to go with it and i love it! It gives a professional look to the watch. For a first time smart watch user this watch is great! the battery has lasted me up to six days before i needed to recharge it. the screen is big enough to make things easy to read. its very simple and easy to use.

I already owned a kickstarter edition pebble which I liked a lot. Pebble steel has been an even better upgrade than I expected. While I really liked the original pebble, it wasn't very attractive. Pebble steel is much more attractive, much less bulky looking, and looks a lot more like a normal watch. But beyond looking better, I've also found that it loses connection with my phone much less frequently, and almost always reconnects without intervention. My original pebble would occasionally lose connection and require toggling bluetooth on my phone or power cycling the watch to force a reconnection. I don't think I've had to do that once with pebble steel. I really like being able to glance at my watch to see notifications without taking my phone out of my pocket. I also really like being able to control music playback from the watch with physical buttons. It makes it easy to pause/play/skip tracks without even looking at the watch.

Pro's: The styling of the steel is definitely a step up from the basic Pebble. The functionality is all the same as the basic model and the display seems only minimally improved. The bluetooth connection is reliable and most of the apps used are stable. Definitely a cool factor to receiving texts / alerts on your watch and I really like some of the faces developed. Con's: The watch delivers on what it says it can do... I would just like for it to do more. The best feature to add for me would be a reply function on texts, such as an auto-reply list that could be configured via an app.

I originally went to the store to buy a android wear watch and walked out with a pebble. I figured I would give it a try and return it if i didn't like it. The major pros that won me are battery life, 5 ATM water resistance, and a always on screen that you can read in the the brightest sun. I originally tried out a pebble I figured for 100 bucks you couldn't beat it only to return it later due to the rainbow effect from polarized light. Returned to the store and bought the pebble steal because it didn't have that problem and realized the improvement of the build quality in the steel for a $200 smart watch. I've been getting 6 to 7 days of battery life with activity tracking and sleep monitoring on. I haven't gone swimming with the watch yet, but i'm sure it won't have a problem as showers have not been a problem. If you want a watch first with the convince of being smart don't hesitate on this great buy.

I purchased this because there is a student discount coupon and came down to 80 bucks. This is elegant looking and I am using this for work and got a lot of compliments with it. This has great battery life and water proof as well. Can't beat the price and the features. I would definitely upgrade it to the new pebble watch.

I bought this for something quick and simply and not to fancy and it has just wowed the heck out of me. functions great love the notifications and I love the battery life.

If you're looking for a top-end smart watch, this is not it. If you're looking to get into the smart watch segment without spending hundreds of dollars, this is what you're looking for. No, it doesn't do everything the Apple Watch or Android Wear does, but it lets you tell at a glance if it's worth pulling your phone out. If you're looking at this and the original pebble, spend the extra $$ for a better fit and finish, look, and build quality Pros: Supports both Android and IOS (only smart watch to do so). E-Ink gives several days of use on a single charge. Great visibility in bright light with e-ink. Great visibility in low light with backlight. Decent amount of optional apps for customization and additional features. Water resistant (replace leather band with metal or silicone). Great entry level smart watch at a great price. Cons: No voice responses (but you can respond with pre-programmed responses). Limited to 8 custom apps (additional apps can be stored in a "locker" on your phone and swapped out without re-downloading).

I've had the Pebble Steel for little over a month now. I used it regularly. I was able to pick it up during a promotion that Best Buy was running for it. I truly believe this was the best bang for the buck I had spent on the watch. It wasn't all perfect with this specific brand. Prior to purchasing the Steel, I had the original pebble watch. I ran across trouble with it, as i had received a defective model. Pebble had replaced the watch within a week. I had realized that I wanted the steel nevertheless. So returned it and purchased the steel. The steel is more aesthetically pleasing to me. It looks more professional and also looks a lot less nerdy than the average smart watch. Yes it doesn't make phone calls, take pictures, or allow you to teleport. But it does what it was intended to do, very well. Notifications are great on this little device. I use it to receive all of my notifications, and it does it very well. Also I access it for quick weather info, and that also is done well. If you need more than that from a Smartwatch, then this might not be the smaetwatxh for you.

This was actually a Father's Day gift. He's a hard person to buy for, and I was working on a fairly small budget for him. He's a big tech guy so I figured I'd get him a smartwatch. This is a real beginner's smartwatch. For the price it's pretty neat, black and white face, buttons for navigation, sturdy leather band. This is a watch for people who THINK they may want a smartwatch, but don't want to shell out the three hundred to buy one. I have the moto360 personally and love it. This watch is a little complicated to set up, lacks some key features (pedometer, heart rate, touch screen, etc.) but you obviously get what you pay for.

I bought this as a graduation gift for my son. He has worn it AND USED IT daily. He says he enjoys getting notifications on his wrist, rather than having to pull his phone out constantly to check it. He also likes the alarm function. It holds a charge for several days of heavy use, so he likes that, too!

I thoroughly enjoy wearing my Pebble watch. It has great battery life, I can wear it swimming, and it looks great too. I get many compliments on it, and I love not having to pull my phone out all the time just to know why it buzzed
