Great sequel to the lightening thief! The progression of the main characters show how they've grown into young adults. The addition of new characters add to the new age greek mythology story! It is a great series and I can't wait to see the next movie in this series.

I enjoyed the plot and all the interaction of the characters. The movie has some nice twists and was easy to follow. There was plenty of action and suspense and had a good story line to follow. I like that the main character seams average and unsure of himself but of course comes through in the end. If you enjoyed the first movie, you should enjoy this one.

At first, I didn't like this movie as much as the 1st one, as I thought it wasn't as well made as the 1st and didn't have as many big name actors in it. After seeing it a 2nd time, though, I liked it better, and can recommend it if you're a Percy Jackson fan.

Characters not clearly defined, plot a little obscure especially if you do not know the genre. May enjoy more if you see the previous movie in this series. Humor much more worthwhile if you are familiar with mythology. Very action packed.

Really enjoyed the movie and the series. I will definitely buy the next movie. I found the movie at best buy - the price beat all other stores. The employee that helped me find the movie in the store went far beyond while searching high and low throughout the store. Wish it would have been easier to locate but the employee was great.

It's always hard when adapting books to film but this is a great sequel for anyone who enjoyed the first film and is familiar with the book series. The acting is well done (especially Nathan Fillion's cameo--honestly, the movie is worth it just for that) and the story can keep any age engaged from beginning to end.

This is the second in the Percy Jackson series. It returns many of the characters from the original. While I'll say the movie was entertaining, this series does not have the same draw as other books to movies series.

This is the follow up to the first Percy Jackson movie. My family and I thought it was very good and my sons, who are only 11 and 6, loved the movie. We recently got a 3D TV and really liked the 3D effects of this movie.

This and the first Percy Jackson are great movies for younger viewers and can even keep the attention of older kids and adults. Similar to the first movie, but that's not a bad thing. Nathan Fillion is in it!

I've seen this movie in movie theater and it is really good. Story is new, plot and twist is good. I haven't read the book. However, it is sad to say that they are not making any more movie. 3D is awesome.

the movie was pretty good for a sequel. if its third one comes out I would buy it. not really slow it all pretty action packed, and it made sense with the other movie, the time line and the storyline for both NSYNC

I loved the first Percy Jackson movie and had high hopes for this, the second one. It, unfortunately was not as great as I hoped. Still a good watch, but I'm glad I got this for Black Friday pricing.

Very good sequel. Offered a good look at how someone who is in a slump just needs to remember the people in their lives to get back up. I actually would like to see the next movie be made in this series.

This sequel to the first Percy Jackson movie was good. Some parts were a little confusing at first, like it was edited without looking at the whole, but overall it was a good older kids adventure movie.

I enjoyed the movie. It had a lot of great action and was a good continuation of the story of Percy Jackson. I was disappointed that they recast one of the main characters but it wasn't that big of a deal.

I have watched previous Percy Jackson movie...this movie was equal to or better than last movie. Not normally my type of movie, but I enjoyed watching it. Good clean entertainment for anyone over 5.

If you liked the first Percy Jackson, then you will like this one. If you have not seen the first one, I recommend watching it first to understand parts of this movie. Overall an entertaining movie.

We liked the first Percy Jackson movie better, but Sea of Monsters is also a fun flick. It's not a movie for the little ones as they may find certain parts a bit scary, but my teen loved this movie.

Picks up where the pilot left off, but still good if you didn't see the first one. Great graphics and lots of action. Possibly not for younger viewers who might get too scared of monsters.

It is hard to fine clean movies that have action and suspense. As a parent, I enjoy movies like this that I can watch with my young children and not worry about them learning bad language.
