Season 3, is a must have for Person of Interest fans!

Great series, different than you typical Cop shows

Person of Interest is the best show on TV today- in my opinion anyway. This season 3 Blu-ray is a must have for any PoI fan or anyone who is a fan of quality television & wants to get the most out of HD. The picture quality is top notch, which can be hit or miss transfers these days. The sound is impeccable. Along w/ the Blu-ray discs, there is another set of DvD that also includes the full season 3 as well as the digital download (Ultraviolet, not iTunes) My only jab is the lack of extras. What is included is great, the gag reel is hysterical & makes one enjoy this hit show even more. But for a show this popular it might behove the studios to include commentaries, more behind the scenes, etc. Especially given the dramatic turns & twists included in this particular season. But, victim or perpetrator, this Blu-ray set is a must buy. Keep kneecapping.

This show is great and I love this season's DVD box set. The gag reel is cool and you get to see some final words from one of the main cast members who was killed off during mid third season. If you have the previous seasons on DVD you will enjoy the special features on this DVD more. There are other special features such as the shows creators (and others) talking about how the future of Artificial Intelligence may look and how it relates to the show, the 2013 Comic-con Panel (only includes cast members: Caviezel, Shahi, Emerson, and Acker, [not Henson or Chapman who I enjoy seeing in interviews], and some of the creators), info. about how it is to work with Boker (who plays Bear on the show), comic book shots of various scenes in the show, and commentary by Emerson on episode Deus Ex Machina.

Simply put? Season 3 builds on the greatness of seasons 1 and 2. Do yourself a favor - don't look up any spoilers. Just buy it and watch it. It's awesome. I haven't read any of the other reviews for this product. If ANYONE has dropped details about this season or the following season, then they should be smacked. TWICE. I would recommend the Blu-ray format because there is detailed text and the hidden details which are difficult to make out in the standard dvd format. Not to overhype things but... it only gets better. Season 3 is ridiculous. And Season 4? Goodness. Just watch it.

POI is one of the best shows on TV. In the current era where electronic surveillance should be everyone's concern, the episodes show the effects of when computer intelligence exceeds that of human control and possible consequences. I love "Team Machine" (Harold, John, Carter, Shaw and Root) the side where human morals must be balanced against the excessive surveillance of technology that may not have moral concerns. We lose one of our heroes in this season, but the team must survive to balance human morals vs machine's blind logic..

Are you a fan of procedurals (crime dramas)? Watch this! Are you a fan of sci-fi? Watch this! Are you just a fan of good storytelling? Watch this! But, start at season 1, episode 1, of course! Excellent season of an excellent series! Finch and Reese are back, with more numbers! But, watch for yourself to see! Only 1 minor complain, the BluRay/DVD/Digital purchasing options as the seasons go on... The vastly different format options and prices as new seasons come out are frustrating.

Person of Interest is maybe a better than average series, about a group of people who are out to save the innocent from the bad people or incidences. They have developed a "Machine" to follow the people of New York who may need their help. Most of the actors are good, but Harold Finch (played by Michael Emerson) is really a strange person. It may be that it is difficult to understand how they can follow 15 million people who live in New York, but once you get past that point, how do they follow their agents with their Machine. Again, you have to accept that ability to follow specific people out of all the people in New York. Once you can accept all the basic background, the stories in them selves are not all bad, in fact they are entertaining. It helps that they have actors that like Jim Caviezel and Sarah Shahi that fit the roles that are given to them and good supporting actors. If you enjoy Agents of Shield, you will enjoy this series.

One of my favorite shows. Lead stars Jim Caviezel as the cool but deadly operative, and Ralph Emerson as the brilliant man behind The Machine, makes a perfect team of guardian angels of the "Would-be victims" as identified by the number from The Machine. I m just sad to see Taraji Henson die, she will be missed. Exciting storylines, action-packed episodes and great acting from the lead characters. Cannot wait for the next season to start. A "must-see, can't afford to miss an episode" type of series.

You won't find a better show on TV than Person of Interest. Each season has surpassed the previous season and I can't wait for Season 4 to get started. Multiple complex plots keep you captivated and hooked, waiting for the next show to come. Great chemistry between the cast members, including Bear the Belgian Malinois. Start with Season 1. You'll be hooked!! Created by Jonathan Nolan, the brother of Christopher Nolan (Memento, Batman-Dark Knight Series, Interstellar).

Person Of Interest keeps building on the past that very slowly is integrated into nearly every show. The producers, writers, directors and cast masterfully produce a world that could frighteningly be more real than we may want it to be. Surveillance is too prevalent in society today, and the show gives plausible possibilities as to the results of a society that pushes God out of consideration, and allows unlimited control to Artificial Intelligence. This captivating series continues to entertain and fascinate. The script writing, music and cinematography pull the viewer into the stories. There is a well balanced portrayal of all the characters. Put it on Blu-ray high definition and you are in for non-stop intrigue and thrills all the way through. Having the DVD copies is also great if you are on a trip and want to "wind down" in the evening with some good TV. We can't get enough of this great TV series.

I am so impressed with the writing of this series. It is so nice to have a show that continues to keep your interest with great writing and fantastic characters (actors). This season was hard to follow on regular network TV, but having the DVD's makes following the twists and turns so much better. Great addition to my Bones collection!

The Machine is one of the main leads of the show-- and even develops an evil twin!! Harold Finch and Reese are each strong in their own way,, and Root is starting to sound sane. I find the contrast too dark in many of the scenes, but so was the broadcast version. Lots of extras, including a ComicCon panel.

After a great first couple of seasons, Season 3 of Person of Interest doesn't disappoint. Great wrap-up of the HR storyline and a nice start to the Samaritan storyline. The entire cast is in fine form and they get great performances from a host of actors in recurring and guest roles.

Person of Interest Season 3 continues the development and evolution of both the machine and the characters and cast of this excellent TV show. This tumultuous season resulted in many surprising changes among the PofI team's interactions, allies, and enemies. Definitely worth purchasing and watching again.

Person of Interest is a great show all around. Season 3 is the best season so far. So much happens that just keeps you hooked. Don't sit down to watch this show thinking you will only watch an episode or two, you will end up staying awake all night telling yourself, "Just one more episode, I swear...".

I've been a Person of Interest fan since the first season. It's fun to watch, the characters are well-written (if you can forgive Nolan for transplanting his Batman characters onto a TV show), and the season's keep building the suspense. It's a show that's best watched instead of someone explaining it.

I love the series POI. No Spoilers. Great story line, action, twist & turns and surprises. Like any show the writers at times have to change things up - characters get written out or die, new characters are brought in. If you don't watch the show you should it's suspenseful & action filled at times.

This season has been the best so far for the show!! A lot of twists and turns, and big surprises!! The extras on the DVD are awesome!! Extras include the actress who plays Detective Carter, saying her goodbyes. As well as other cool stuff. If you're a big fan of the show, as I am, buy the DVD!!
