Customers highly value the engaging gameplay and compelling story in Persona 5 Strikers. The music and the steelbook edition also receive significant praise. While some miss elements from the previous game, the action-oriented gameplay and voice acting are generally well-received.

A unique, yet fun and engaging spinoff to a kickass game. The music really gets me pumped for the action, the gameplay’s dynamic features really pull you in, and the voice acting is a delicious cherry on top.

A great little sequel to Persona 5! The gameplay might take a while to get used to since it’s not the traditional turn-style system. Other than that, the story is great and the soundtrack is amazing!

If you’re a fan of the Persona 5 universe or a fan of Persona you’ll like this. It’s not nearly as good as the original it is based on. It’s actually a totally different style of gameplay. The original is a Turn based RPG but this one is a hack and slash action game. Same characters as the original with a few new ones added. I really love Sofia the AI. The game doesn’t have the same appeal to me as the original but it’s definitely a good game still. The music is one of the stand out parts of the game(like most of the Persona games). It’s got a couple of remixes from Persona 5 and they all sound great and a little more action packed. It’s not for everyone but I think everyone should give it a shot

Last year, Atlus knocked it out of the park with Persona 5 Royal and this year, they've done it again. Strikers is incredible. I couldn't help but grin from ear to ear as we were reunited with the Phantom Thieves. Sophia and Zenkichi, the new characters in this game, fit the team and story so well, I found myself wishing they were part of the group in Royal. The gameplay, wasn't too hard to get used to, although that might be because I'm used to hack and slash style games. It might be a bit off putting for newcomers or people who are used to the previous turn based combat. The story is rich and engaging and you're left captivated by the entire thing. I hope Atlus does one more game with the Phantom Thieves.

A direct sequel to Persona 5, it has a great story and music, and great to see all of our favorite characters again. While short compared to 5 or Royal, it's still a great time and well worth the money.

Really good. Almost a full sequel, story wise, but you can play it without spoiling Royal (or really even Vanilla P5). It's got more stategy than I expected from a "Musou" game. It can get a little repetitive as they do though, especially in side quests, and full PS5 upgrade would've been nice. But, other than that, it's a high recommend, especially for fans of the series.

Super Fun Warriors/Persona Gameplay Fusion. This game is super fun and fast-paced, and the story is pretty decent. Excited to see everything The Phantom Thieves have to offer in this adventure.

Awesome game! Highly recommend it if you played Persona 5/Royal. If you haven’t played those then I encourage you to play them first! Got the steelbook with the game and it looks really nice!

Excellent followup to Persona 5 with a story at least on par with its predecessor and gameplay that stays true to its persona roots even as it adotps dynasty warriors style combat.

The soundtrack is amazing as always. The gameplay is similar to FF7 Remake. Honestly, if you played the original Persona 5 game you'll for sure be entertained by the story.

Persona 5 Strikers is a lot of fun. While the gameplay is different from the original persona 5 it brings the same type of excitement and continues the story in a fun way.

A continuation of the original Persona 5 not Persona Royal, this game has no mention of the female protagonist. This game is very fun for a hack & slash game while still having some traditional RPG elements found in Persona games such as weapon, clothing, and shadow building. The story is also great but that's to be expected right, it is a Persona game.

Fantastic Follow-Up to Persona 5

Presentation and story-wise the game 100% feels like a sequel to Persona 5. There was a sense of familiarity as the game started and all the familiar characters (and some locations) appeared. The story of this character is definitely reminiscent of persona 5, but it has its own interesting twist and turns. A big plus in this story is that the characters keep all their character development from the first game (which is something that sequels can fail at) and apply that to the new situations they find themselves in. The new characters in this game are also top tier and fit very well in the persona 5 world (I prefer them to the new Royal characters).
The big differences in this game are that the social link system is gone, and the combat is not turn-based.
My big worry for this game was the combat, but I ended up greatly enjoying it. It keeps the weakness system as Persona 5(pausing time to cast with persona), but with real time melee, gun, and combo attacks. It can be a more spammy than the original combat and the post-game is extremely grindy, but during the story I found it to be fun and even challenging.
If you want more of the Phantom Thieves, you definitely need Persona 5 Strikers.

Loved the original P5 and played it for hours. Bought P5R PS4 on release and played that for hours and got the platinum. Decided to give Strikers a try even though the gameplay was different and I STILL loved this as well. GREAT sequel to one of my top 5 games of all time. Now I recently purchased P5R again for PS5 and going to platinum that as well. One of the best franchises ever.

This game is lots of fun, you encounter enemies just like you did in Persona 5 but instead of turn based combat you fight a big group of enemies at one time. I started the game on the normal difficulty, it took me about 55 hours to finish, the first dungeon took a while to get through, but the rest of the game goes a lot faster, once you start getting stronger personas and higher leveled. The boss fights at the end of the dungeons are always a lot of fun. I highly recommend playing Persona 5 first, as the characters mention a lot of events from that game.

First hour or so is very confusing. Game has lots of mechanics, but has a very bare bones tuturial that leaves you a lot to learn yourself.
After that, it is the BEST muso (dynasty warriors) game there is. They mannaged to beautifully fuze the turn based combat and action button mashing combat into a wonderful combat system. There is also the same great UI, and holy moly the remixed music is an absolute jam!!!
The canonical story to P5 is great and gives a lot of nice screentime to all the characters

P5 Strikers is an excellent continuation of Persona 5 (vanilla) Although Royal was an excellent expansion of that original storyline Strikers only acknowledges the Vanilla storyline instead. So if you’ve played the original all the characters and past events that are mentioned throughout your journey will be familiar. If this is your first Persona game I do highly recommend checking out P5 Royal first. With that said let’s talk a bit of story. Game takes place roughly 6 months after the original ending; the Phantom Thiefs have a reunion to celebrate the protagonist return and decide to go on a road trip together. Needless to say things don’t go as plan and the gang must form back together to regain the masses desires. The game only has one ending but the villains throughout are far more fleshed out. The gameplay feels basic at first but the enemies all have weaknesses and strengths so simply just mashing the square button isn’t gonna cut it. Plus having your SP limited early on ensures that each combat encounters are different especially when you can use the environment as well to make the fights easier and conserve energy. There are no time limit with each new Jails you are free to leave at will at any point to regain your energy. Having everyone available from the start makes the encounters much more enjoyable. You unlock more moves for each character by taking control of each one during combat. You’ll be able to purchase gear throughout the game and the game has no confidant system which is fine. There are also very little places to visit to spend your free time and if there is it’s always story related. It’s been replaced with the request system from either the jails or your friends. So yeah the game has removed a few things and I understand. The game wants you to experience the story in this specific way and it works because everyone has great banter among each other and new places to visit are always with your friends. Overall the game is much shorter compared to the other games. I beat it at just over 60 hours but I had fantastic time and I’m sure you will too!
