You can't go too far wrong here. Delightful for kids. Animation is very dated, but that is what they had at that time. Watch the extra material and you will get a better appreciation of what went into making this. Cheerful songs, nice story, Characters are enjoyable. Blu Ray has good quality and sound.

Much prefer this classic Pete's Dragon over the latest rendition. In this one the Dragon is a cartoon and the movie is a musical-in typical old Disney fashion. Perfect for young kids and older.

Bought this on blu ray to replace my ancient DVD that was scratched and skipping. I wanted my 3 kids to experience the original before they were tainted by the new Pete's Dragon. They loved it!

I purchased this for me to watch and then pass to my grand children. The video is updated and in Blu-ray is incredible. I love Disney and as with most Disney you cannot go wrong.

This one is one of the old school classic movies from Disney that many of us grew up with. The visuals are a bit dated but its hard not to recognize that dragon. Entertaining and fun

This was one of my daughter's favorite movies growing up. I purchased this DVD to put in the Easter basket of my grandson, hoping that he will enjoy the movie as much as my daughter did.

My kids grew up with Pete's Dragon. I purchased this 35th anniversary of Pete's Dragon for my granddaughter. We will have many more years of watching one of our favorite movies!!!

A classic from my childhood. Go Disney! It's lots of fun to see movies from when we were young. An interesting blending of real and animation at the beginning of the technology.

This movie was one of my girlfriends favorite movies as a kid. She was happy to find out it was on Blu Ray so I got it for her. I think it's a weird movie, but she likes it.

Ok so I'm in my 40's and this was the first time I've watched it. Docked 1 star for 2 reasons: 1, movie was TOO LONG and 2, the music numbers could have been left out to spare the audience. Kids were more than happy when it finally ended but they liked it.

This is an all around great movie to watch with the family. They recently did a revision of this movie, but it lack the wonderful songs in this version of the movie.

This Disney family film classic looks great on blu-ray and includes the DVD as well and a bunch of bonus features. The movie itself may seem a little cheesy compared to the recent remake, but overall it's still an enjoyable film for the kids.

I am only have a DVD player right now, but I may get a Blu-Ray player in the future. I am glad that Disney includes both DVDs and Blu-Ray versions of the movie!

Such a great film, I used to love this movie so when I going out they were doing a remake I knew I had to rewatch the original. I was surprised to find the blu ray at such a cheap price. I'm so happy with the quality of the film. What a great remaster!

Hadn't seen this movie in over 20 plus years. It totally transported me back to fun loving memories from my childhood. Made me fell like a kid all over again.

Grandson is obsessed with dinosaurs and loves to watch anything about them. Added to my Disney Blu-ray collection and he watches every time he visits.

I was so happy to find this movie at Best Buy. I loved it as a child and I am glad they had the original in stock in store now that the new one is in theaters.
