lots of nice features and good graphics, would have been 5 stars if it didn't need to be hooked up to the internet for my career mode

This game lags and locks up easily... very confusing for my son whom I bought this game for Christmas... I’ve spent a few hours playing trying figure out the cause and it locks up on my as well... hopefully an update will come soon otherwise don’t buy. I’ve had to restart 4 times. It’s not my console

Overall a great simulation of video golf. A nice suite of options and courses and at it's core a very believable career mode and accurate representation of the sport. While not perfect (it could use more and better inclusion of the real name golfers and courses like the Masters), it has definitely been a pleasant surprise of a find for someone who hasn't bought a golf game since EA TW 12 maybe?!? It even makes me want to hit the links for real again!! Solid 8/10 and the argument could certainly be made for a 9....I am just not as familiar with the nuances of the game to know for sure!

If you enjoy Golf, this is definitely the game for you. If you don’t like Golf, I would avoid it. This game I would say is for those who really enjoy the small things about the sport. It highlights the entire sport while also making it incredibly fun.

Fantastic golf game! Everything from the presentation, game play, to the graphics are on point. The adjustability of the difficulty and aides make it much more flexible than the previous The Golf Club games. The biggest improvement is adding the optional putt preview feature. Without it expect putting to be extremely challenging.

Good game play. Not as good as the old EA games but pretty darn close...Id say for the money i spent on this which was close to $14 it was well worth it.. Lots of courses to choose from...career mode, online play, you can even build your own course.

I have never played golf so I thought, let's give this game a try and suck alone, instead of showing my lack of skills for everyone to see. The game helps to get you into as easier levels are a good entry point to not get frustrated. The career mode is really fun: imagine yourself becoming the new Tiger or whoever you think is the best golfer Playing with other people is even funnier: I played with family members and missing an easy put will always get you a big laugh... till they miss one too (karma they call it). I guess it's missing lot of tournaments in different parts of the world, but with the number of them included, you can create your own season and have enough fun for months.

I’ve played the previous The Golf Club games and always thought they were pretty decent, but could use some improvement. This iteration is the best one yet by far! More polished and smoother visuals / gameplay, the inclusion of the PGA Tour license, better commentary, to name a few improvements. You can also tailor your difficulty experience to your liking. It’s fun leveling up your character and buying new equipment and clothing accessories. I’ll be playing this one for a long while. Buy it if you’re a fan of golf and golf games, you won’t be disappointed!

This is truly a good golf simulator out there. Graphics on PS5 is really good. Plenty of courses and easy to use. Have not played all the courses yet. Must buy if you are an avid golfer.

Fun game, but it frequently loads a little whacky/freezes frequently (may be in part to our internet connection, as well). Graphics are good and the controls give you a wide range of options for optimal play.

Great game for golfers of any caliber! So many competitive ways to play the game, solo, against a guest sitting with you, or play against the field! We like playing team match play against other people who have played the same course. Graphics are awesome, and many course resemble the real life. We play online, but can be played without internet, just have fewer courses to choose from. Also, to play against friends not in your home, you will need the membership to Sony Playstation, but it's not required to play this game and pick so many great places to play! Worth the $$

I loved the TW games on the PS2 and still play those. I was enjoying this game, great graphics and gameplay. My internet went down so I thought I would play career mode and it said internet connection required? I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, why would they do that. Needless to say I was so disappointed and stopped playing. I’m still looking for a gold game that I can enjoy online and off.

I love this game! Best golf game I’ve played in a while! Love the ‘rivalries’ in career mode! Courses are great and the game is beautiful!

I am learning everyday I play the game and I never knew how to play golf before! So much fun :)

Love it. Lots of variables to consider and several difficulty settings for all level gamers. Probably not for small children.
