Good tv for a reasonable price. Picture quality is good, HD looks great. The internet apps are limited. It's heavy for a flat screen and does have a large border around the screen but for the features it does have are great for the price.

I went back and forth over two months looking for a new TV to replace my old faithful Panasonic Plasma. I had previously purchased a Sharp 60 with poor sound and average picture quality and had to take it back after a week. The Samsung 55 looked good in the store but after some research discovered that almost all TV's are not true 120Hz but 60Hz that simulate 120 up to 240. I did more research and found this GEM online. All the reviews were really positive and with all the features packed in it was the best bang for the buck ($749.99). The picture quality is superb as it is a true 120Hz and the sound is very excellent for a flat TV. Sports and Movies are amazing and I have not seen any ghosting with the set. Games (COD) did not look as good, at first, but I read the manual (which is important to set up the WIFI) and you turn down the Digital Natural Motion it is a smooth as my old Panny. If you are looking for a high quality 1080P set for under $900.00 (got mine on sale again for 749.99) then this is the best deal for you. OF NOTE: Best Buy does have the higher end 1080P LED "true" 240Hz Phillips online (55PFL5907) and it is a heck of a price for a high quality TV.

This TV was purchased for a school classroom. It has not disappointed. The picture quality is great, as we watch many video clips and movie clips. But, the best part is how easy it is to connect the TV with the internet and other computers. When students give presentations, whatever is on their laptops can be wireless viewed on the TV. Awesome.

Needed a new TV....7 year old DLP went out. Alway loved Phillips products. Caught this on the Deal of the day. I think the picture is amazing. Very easy to set up. I haven't connected it to the internet yet but I will. No problems so far.

I looked everywhere online for about two months for a smart tv that was at least 50" and under $1000 and then this Philip's 55" tv went on sale on BB's website for $750. I felt as though it was a sign! I looked around for another week comparing the features and price of this tv to the other tvs in its class and read more than enough reviews and decided, it was meant to be! I went to my local BB, paid for it and took it home that day. I got everything set up within an hour or two and I absolutely love that I can see anything on my computer on this tv. The colors aren't that great for regular viewing, but HD is amazing! I've had it for a month now and I truly enjoy it, as does my father since he now comes over EVERY DAY to watch my new tv. I guess that that's the only negative about it! :)

I think the TV was a great deal. The price was great for the quality of the tv. Easy to set up and has a lot of features that we wanted.

We bought this TV for our living room. The picture quality was great and for the price when it was on sale, it was a great deal. We did have to take it back though since it was too big of a screen for the space that we wanted. But all in all a great TV. We already owned a Phillips and knew this would be a good purchase as well.

The picture on this TV is outstanding. My mother wants this TV in her own home. I have not hooked up to the Internet as of yet for fear I would never get anything done around the house or yard. This TV would be a great investment and value to anyone that is looking for a large TV with lots horns & whistles .

Bought this tv because it had features I wanted. Except hulu. And was a great price. Picture quality is amazing. But after a week or so the tv began to shut itself off while watching. Returned it and got another of one same model and it did the same thing. Also the remote does not let you get too far from tv before it gets a delay. If you push a button it takes a couple seconds for a response. If you can get past these things it is a great price.

overall very pleased with this purchase. install was easy. one software update prompted automatically and completed without problem.

For the price of the TV it has a good pricture and it was easy to set up

We purchased this tv on a clearance sale but had to bring back the first one because it shut itself off. We read a review from someone who had the same problem and were scared to get another one but the replacement tv has no issues.

We bought what we wanted for a great price and got a great item. The TV has a great picture and we love the built in options.. The Netflix, the Pandora. Overall we are very pleased with the purchase.

When we purchased this TV to replace the one that had just been stolen a few days before the BestBuy staff were so great, said we had a budget and could not spend anything over our budget amount. It is a great value and the picture is real good. But the issue I have is that there is only digital audio out.

I bought this TV as a replacement for my old Projection tv so obvious upgrade I have enjoyed having the better quality and features would go led next time

The size is perfect for my livingroom. It has great picture quality especially once we hooked up the HD connecter. The sound is also very good.

Better picture quality then the one I had before. Would by another if in a tight budget.

i bought this tv because it was a decent price for a 55 smart tv...but besides it working its purpose, it had many annoying issues that ruined the possibility of enjoying the tv. 1st off, on the 1st night i watched it, the control wouldnt really work, id have to get like 2 feet from the tv...ugh..annoying and when i turned it off, the screen turned blue...i could not get it to turn off. i tried several times until i had no choice but to unplug it from the outlet..it did this 2 times in a week. not only did the remote not work, it also sucked. there is no way to know what you are pressing in the dark...its a struggle, it had a hard time connecting to the internet aswell...overall, i returned it in less than 2 weeks.
