I wasn't sure what to purchase at first because I have never bought car dvd players before. I have asked my friends and they have recommended Pylips. I am glad I bought them. They have a pretty good picture and both my kids can watch what they want. Very easy to install.

I looked at all of the reviews for the portable DVD players that Best Buy had for sale. I literally sat in the aisle and compared the boxes as well. I ended up with this item and I could not be happier. Even though some review mentioned that you had to play separate DVDs and each player, I found a cable that connected both players and allowed both players to show the same movie at the same time. This was a great way to entertain a 2 year old and a 3 year old in a road trip to California. It was also better than an iPad because you can control what the are watching. It has to be hooked up to a power source to work (no battery pack), but it comes with both a car adapter and the ability to plug it into a wall. I had also read a review where it said that you couldn't forward through to the menu. This was also incorrect. The buttons to do this are on the top of the player, not the front where it is easier for kids to touch these buttons. If you are considering this product, I would tell you to go for it.

We bought the Phillips Dual Screen player for a long car ride. It was perfect for my two-year-old twin boys. We played one DVD but each had his own screen. It's easy to set up, and the auto resume feature was convenient too. It would be nice if it had a battery pack, but once we figures out the power hook-up in the car, it was fine. Overall, I'd recommend this for anyone looking to entertain young kids on a long trip.

My sister has been using it for my nephew and she says it's amazing. She loves it! It has great picture quality and it keeps him entertained. Love the fact that you have different power options for it, and that you can run it separately from the other one!

Heading down to FL during Spring Break. Knew we needed a DVDs player for our 2 kids. It was perfect because they were able to watch independently or jointly. It was great. No fighting just smooth sailing all the way down. It made for an enjoyable ride for all.

It's perfect for road trips. Only thing is I wish it was cordless or battery operable as well.

Very convenient to be able to watch 2 different movies at the same time. We usually keep one in the car and the other in the truck. Keeps the Grand kids happy in which ever vehicle we go in.

Got these for the kids to use in the car. We had a long trip and these worked great. Easy for them to use and they come with everything you need to use them. Only thing I would change is it HAS to be plugged in to use, they do not have batteries.

Picture quality is good. Plays dvds so both can watch same movie, or both can watch different movies. Wish headsets were wireless.

Purchased to use for long trips. Great for keeping the kids occupied while traveling. I have a son and a daughter and each can watch their own movies without fighting over what to watch. Add earphones for each and you have peace and quiet.

Bought these DVD players to replace an old set that would not play newer enhanced movies. The picture is fantastic and sound quality is great. The only thing that would make them better is if the controls were on the front instead of the top.

Our previous van had a built in single screen pop down. The kids liked this a ton as we take long road trips throughout the year. When the van broke down and we went to go on our next trip in new vehicle, we realized we didn't have the dvr player anymore and would have some sad kids on the long drive. So, last minute we were able to buy this and the kids like it more than the previous one we had. They were able to watch the same movie if linked up or could watch separate movies!

I like how you can watch the same movie or 2 separate movies. I also liked how it can be used in a vehicle or indoors.

I have a couple grandkids with me all the time in the car. I love that with the age difference (5 and11) they each can watch what they want. And believe it or not in my medium size car they each can hear their own movies.

I bought these for our first long family trip (with a 2 and 4 yr old) and they worked perfectly. We used only the 'same movie' feature while driving mainly because we haven't bought headphones yet. Super easy to use and since our vacation was mostly rain, we ended up bringing them inside and watching them inside too (separate movies on each). HIghly recommend. Only downside is you have to be close to an outlet when inside since the cords are quite short.

Bought this set of Dual DVDs for a 9 hour road trip. The units were easy to use, most of the functionality was intuitive. Easy to put a DVD in each player and switch between movies. The A/V cable did occasionally lose connection to the 2nd DVD player; however this may have been due to road conditions. It was easily remedied at a fuel stop. Picture quality and sound were excellent.

This dual screen DVD player set is so awesome. It can be used as two separate players in our two separate vehicles and play individual shows. It can also be connected to play 1 DVD on two screens if both of our kids want to watch the same thing.

It has a nice picture and is easy to attach to seats. Also is nice that two different movies can be played at the same. It does not have a battery so it can not be used on a plane and the cords are little bit of a pain. The controls for using the menu feature are not very east to use.
