This product has been just fine, have had it about two months. The desktop/interface when it boots up is very similar to a Sony player, minus the drop-downs where everything is categorized. It can be a little quirky, i.e. for some reason when I push the power button to turn it off, it decides to come back on, or I will press the eject button and it decides not to until I press it again, or use the remote to eject. Other than that, for the price this is a great deal for a Wi-Fi signal Blu-Ray player that allows me to stream Netflix in my bedroom :)

Wifi works great, and the picture is good. No complaints, bought this for my daughters room and she watches Netflix on it with no issues

This wifi Blu-ray player does more than the average. Needed a Blu-ray player for the bedroom that would stream video and movies via built-in apps like Netflix. Good basic functions and easy to use.

The Philips - Smart Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player is a great device at an even better price. You can watch crystal clear Blu-ray movies, or connect to your Netflix membership via the built-in wifi.

This isn't be best blu-ray player on the block but for what you pay for (on sale only) it's a pretty good value. The apps are limited with no Hulu Plus, but it does have Netflix. No Amazon Instant Video either. There are a lot of apps that I've not heard of and wouldn't be of any use to me. If you just need a wi-fi blu-ray player for a basement or a kids room or something, this is a good value IF you get it on sale.

This player is much more compact than older players. Takes up less space and you don't loose anything quality wise.

I like it and I'm still new to this product: but I can't figure out how to shut it off on the device itself or the remote. So because of that I give 4 stars should be more user friendly. Any advice let me know.And for the $$ I am very happy I was never able to watch Netflix without the Xbox and did not want to spend money on another Xbox so not only did I get a device to watch Netflix and YouTube plus many other apps I also have a Blu ray player now. Very cool!

got it on sale and have been very happy with it. The unit is nice and compact, remote is easy to operate, and quality seems good.

A lot of great features on this bluray player for the price. Easy setup, easy to operate, great for playing dvds, blurays and streaming.

Blu-Ray - plays excellent, picture quality is super as is sound. No complaints here! Apps - Good, Wi-Fi receiver is dated, won't connect to my 5G signal, has to use the older protocol. Apps only update through Phillips so you cannot add any of your own, you are limited to what is offered from Phillips. Speed is good, no problems. I use this as a secondary unit which it would be good for.

Excellent blu-ray player. I bought as an open-box item and have had no problems with it. It sounds great and works great.

Bought this for my kids room, and works great. The WiFi and Netflix work perfect. And. It can play movies from the USB.

It was just as described. Easy to set up. Great looking picture. Have used it for netflix & you tube. It works perfect.

I am very pleased with this blueray DVD player. It was easy to set up, takes up very little space and is easy to use.

The price for this BD player is very reasonable. The remote is horribly slow as far as response time. The Wifi works pretty well but without a remote you can't control the player. Overall, cheap price, decent player, good for a kids room to have Netflix access.
