It's a headset, mic is pretty good, people could hear me clearly. Sound quality is good, nothing outstanding, as expected. L-shaped 3.5 mm connector is convenient for phones. Stylish look and flexibility is plus. Headphones become uncomfortable after wearing longer than 45 min. The description lists aluminum and leather as materials, but doesn't mention plastic. Leather is quite thin and got clear wearing markings in less than 6 months. Aluminum looked great after 6 months. Plastic is used to connect earphones to the metal headband. This plastic connection is the weakest point as this place is under constant strain. Not surprisingly, that plastic connector got cracked and broken in less than a year of a very mild use. In my opinion, Philips should use metal connector or more durable plastic. Also, upon close look the inner plastic looked porous and not consistent, which tells me that it's rather plastic quality issue. Most likely technology process was not followed or not enough plastificator was added, or some components were not mixed in the right ratio, etc. Cheating on plastic production would save some money at expense of durability. I contacted Philips as the product is still under warranty. However, they told me that "this is considered wear and tear upon usage" and "the warranty does not cover physical damages". "Well done" Philips, - by using cheap/faulty plastic your products break faster, therefore, people will buy them more frequently, - profit. Wouldn't recommend due to durability issue and lack of responsibility from Philips brand.
