Very vibrant colorful lighting, and super responsive. Doesn't disconnect at all and the app is intuitive and customizable. I really enjoy the different connected apps you can use, like the fire flickering. Only thing is it's really expensive for what it is

Tried going the cheaper route with some other smart lights. But you get what you pay for. The lights are expensive but extremely reliable

Truly the gold standard. A little pricey. But Philips hue is always the one to reach for when trying to create dynamic lighting.

After thought we purchased the Hue 75W Smart LED Starter kit and crossed our fingers that it was a good start. We spent some time asking others who have the lights even if they had not started with this kit. Also took advantage of the Geek Squad at the Best Buy. That was a solid move as was asking other people how it went for them and was it a successful choice. Answer to that is “yes”! We did have help and we did learn how this new venture was the answer to helping us feel safer and more secure when we were out of town as well as our daily life at home. We use this every day with the help of Alexa and our cell phones when we aren’t communicating with Alexa! Definitely things turned out as we hoped and every mistake we made just helped with a learning experience! Definitely a good buy and a good experience.

This was the start of my foray into Smart Lighting possibilities. Some research led me to Philips Hue lighting systems. Quite easy to set up, run, and explore numerous settings. While more expensive than other lighting systems, Philips Hue is more flexible, more trustworthy, and offers more possibilities than their competition.

Great introduction to the smart home features for us. The app works wonderfully along with the Amazon Alexa. The Phillips Hue app allows you to change the colors with different intensities, while the Alexa only lets you change with basic colors. Definitely recommend!

The Hue Instructions are terrible. It shows drawings with no instruction in any way. The connection to the bridge using the app didn't work if I was logged into the app. It instructed me to connect locally but no instruction on how to do so. So, I signed out of the app and forced the app to find the bridge. Once I did this, the app located the Bridge. From there, it was easy to get all the lights connected and to teach Alexa the skill using the bridge. I'm extremely impressed with the distance from the bridge and the speed and connection with my smart house system. Highly recommend the bridge and the app as well as any of the lighting that can be used with the bridge. I am setting up the routines and links to my other devices now. Other smart lighting systems have been terrible. 100% recommend this system.

I've been slowly working to transition to a SmartHome and lighting was my next step. I have opted for Apple HomeKit as my platform. This is a good set up that works well for that initial set up in lighting.

I previously had another brand, but the Philips Hue lightbulbs and Hub are honestly so easy and seamless to install, and they just WORK. I haven't messed around with the color options, but I'm excited to integrate it into my current setup with scenes.

Great bulbs! They're much lighter weight than the old smart bulbs I used that connected via wi-fi. I love that these use the zigbee connection that is enabled on some of the Alexa models so I don't even have to plug the hub it comes with in. I also love that i was able to ditch 4 devices off my wi-fi connection by using the zigbee bluetooth connection that these operate on. Colors are fantastic!

Phillips Hue products just work. Their entire ecosystem works together through seamless integration to the Hue app as well as Google Home. Yes , you are going to pay for it, but it is worth it. It is the Apple of home automation lighting.

Purchased these for my teen. Instead of stringing tacky LED strips around the room. Now he can make the room any color and it also works with his gaming PC with the lights changing colors to what every is on the screen.
