Works perfect with both first and second gen hubs. The temperature is more on the warm side (yellow). The newer version of the bulb has a wider temperature range. If you are looking for a cool (white) temperature, buy the newer generation of the bulb. Bulb is compatible with SIRI and Apple Home Kit as long as you are using the Philips Hue Hub. When on saw the price is more than reasonable.

Really liking the Phillips hue lighting system! Upgraded the whole house and have full control of all the lights by voice or phone. Very convienient!

I've had the Hue bulbs about a week now. So easy telling Alexa to turn on my lights or to set a scene or routine. Definitely expanding the lighting.

It's so easy to install this light bulb and it works perfectly like what I expected. I can ask Alexa to turn on this bulb whenever I feel like it!

It's really cool to walk in the room and tell Alexa to turn on the light. Better yet, when we are out at night it looks like someone may be there.

I am a huge fan of the philips hue lighting system. This bulb is their cheapest option, but is still great and fully programmable and controllable through either the philips hue app, light switch, or philips own lighting control modules. I definitely suggest investing in a philips hue starter bundle to give your home or business lighting extra flare and limitless options for control.

These lights work perfectly and for the price I will replace most of the bulbs in my house with smart bulbs; even where I wasn't planning to replace with smart bulbs. I am still having trouble getting them to work with the alarm feature in the Hue app so I am taking off one star.

I am a huge fan of the Internet of Things. And lighting is a great first step toward making my living space manageable from my smart devices, both at home and away. I started with the color spectrum Phillips lights and was immediately sold on the concept. Since then, I've been using my Best Buy rewards points to increase the amount of intelligent lights in my home at an even better cost. The next step for me will be to evolve more complex aspects of the house, like a smart thermostat, fire alarm, front door lock, and security devices. I'm very much looking forward to accomplishing this!

Nice light. Must have a bridge to use. I did not read that prior to buying since it came with Echo for $5 with bundle deal. Fun to use with Echo.

I love Hue lights! I have two light fixtures that have switch problems. The Hue lightbulbs allowed me to keep my fixtures without a costlier fix.

its a great light bulb, i have them all over the house and paired with a amazon echo it makes it easy to dim the lights and turn them on and off

This was a good addition to my Hue ecosystem. Mostly have the “full” color bulbs, but just needed a simple white light and it integrates easily.

This light bulb came free with the amazon echo during Black Friday. It’s so fun to use that now I need to go get more for the rest of the house

I have two of these bulbs downstairs and they have been very reliable and easy to control via the Phillips Hue Bridge or with Amazon Echo Plus.

I purchased the Phillips Hue starter kit (with 2 bulbs and the Hub) and an additional 3 bulbs. I will be purchasing more! The bulbs respond well to the App control and Amazon's Alexa. The 60W strength is sufficient for the areas that I have lamps (bedrooms and family room lighting.) It's a great product for the price (~$14.99 each...but I got them on sale here for $9.99 each.)

I needed to replace my existing bulbs with these Phillips Hue blubs so that I can control the brightness in my multimedia room. They WORK GREAT as expected.

These are awesome. I never cared about these smart light bulbs.....but now the amazon echo can control them (very cool) and they are priced more realistically now. The color spectrum bulbs are 4 times this and I have absolutely NO need to have a color party in my house for 60 bucks a bulb. But the white only ones are AWESOME and work well with my phone, iPad, and Alexa on the Echo.

I love these lights. They are now connected to Alexa and they are even more wonderful. They are super easy to set up and super easy to use.

Works great once paired to the system, its far easier to just use the S/N and plug it into the app instead of trying to find the bulbs with a search. That is my only gripe and reason for 4 stars instead of one. I'm currently running 12 of these throughout my living room and bedroom, and cant beat that its LED so its very efficient.
