Phillips Hue lights are among the most reliable smart home tech available. Colors are great (incl. white rendering as with this bulb), they are energy efficient, and best of all, they work every time as expected. This bulb will pair with either the Phillips dimmer switch, Hue Tap, or the Lutron Connected Bulb remote for a 'normal' switch interaction. No need to pull the smartphone out to turn the light on/off.

If you have a connected home, this is a great addition. A bit cumbersome to manage if you don't though. Easier to just install a dimmer switch than open an app just to dim the lights.

they work good. they turn on, off and dim when needed. what else can you say.

Plug and play with Amazon Echo. This is the third Hue bulb To be purchased.

The light could be a little brighter but works perfect with my amazon Alexa

No hassle in adding to existing HUE system and allowing for expansion at a reasonable price point. The only draw back is that you cannot change color temperature.

If all you need is something to dim that is soft white then this is great.

These are by far the best dimmable LED bulbs I've tried, but still not entirely perfect. I compared one to an incandescent in the same fixture, and Philips did an amazing job with the warming of the color. At fully dimmed, it was identical to the incandescent bulb I left in the fixture for comparison, really incredible. However, the dimming is no longer linear, so you can't mix with regular bulbs and get the same brightness through the dimming range. With these LEDs most of the dimming occurs in the top 1/3 of the slider of my Leviton dimmer, the next 3rd does pretty much nothing and then there is another noticeable drop in light output when fully dimmed. There is a slight delay before it dims as well. It's not really a problem, but there is room for improvement in the calibration. I also tested one in my nightstand touch lamp, and it only put out a dim light, with very minor level changes between the 3 settings. In fact, the brightest setting of the lamp was the dimmest of the bulb. Not sure when anyone will make an LED compatible with a touch lamp, but they aren't on enough to worry about it, until they stop making filament bulbs. Lastly, there is a very slight audible buzzing from these when you first dim them. It seems to less as they warm up, but if you really listen for it, you can hear it. Not enough to bother me, but if it's going to be close to your head, like a nightstand, it could be a problem.

I love the fact that the light is dimmable and easily controlled by Alexa.

This bulb works as expected. Just know that you need to purchase a smart bridge to use it. I set mine up with the Echo Plus and it works as expected. Even the the smart bridge is only on one Echo, any Alexa in the house can operate the light.

The HUE bulbs work great. Using their app (and also Alexa) you can control the bulbs without having to flip a switch. Easy to set up and control you can also dim the brightness to whatever percentage you like. Highly recommended.

I am a fan of these lights as I already had 2 prior so I decided to get another one for my son bed room it was easy to add on And works great definitely will recommend this brand to anyone looking for some smart lights

These are the best. WE can tell Alexa to turn off and on or dim our lights. We don't have to reach out of bed. we can walk in the room and tell alexa to turn on the lights. These bulbs also dim, which is fantastic.

If you need a simple bulb that can be controlled, this will do the trick. Some Echo devices have a built-in Zigbee automation controller, and will control them directly. If you do not have one, then the Hue Bridge is required.

We have these all over our home and operate them with our Google Home. ♡
