The hue bulb/lighting system allows you to tie multiple light bulbs into one wireless switch. This is awesome when you have a living room/den with multiple table lamps, floor standing lamps, etc.

I use this with my Amazon Alexa Echo. The (full sized) Echo has the Phillips bridge built in, so you don't need to purchase one. Just screw the bulb into a standard socket, power it on, and have Alexa detect it. You can turn it on or off with voice activation, or remotely with the Alexa app (both Apple and Android). You can also program on and off times, so you don't need to be home to make your home look occupied.

Easy to install, and very bright. Covered almost the whole household with 7 lights.

So easy to connect to Alex, and controlling the brightness of each bulb is awesome.

I got a few of these when I first started switching my home to Hue lights. I regret getting as many as I did. I now only have them in my closets. Once I really got into what you can do with the system, I really only wanted the color/white combo bulbs in my main lights and lamps. I have a couple lamps that are strictly used for reading that I put the white ambiance bulbs in, but I’m so used to the cool white color now, these warm white bulbs just don’t seem bright enough. On a high note, they’re inexpensive and you can still use them with voice control. Also, you can often get them for practically free with switches, etc.

Sometimes have connectivity issues with these in my living room pendant lights I’ve had to uninstall them and re install several times Other than this issue they are great lights

This is a good light for the stairway and entrances for the house. Relatively cheap to get a bunch.

Purchased these bulbs to go with my current Philips Hue system. They work great, easy app to navigate, connects to the Amazon Echo Dot seamlessly. Only thing that would be better is a lower price!

I get home rather late. So on my drive home I'll get on my Alexa App and turn on the lights. It's nice coming home to a well lit place, plus the light itself is bright too!

We really like using Alexa to turn the lights on and off As well he ability to dim. We can’t wait for all our lights to be these. Just a little expensive. Hoping they last a long time.

I bought additional bulbs for other rooms in my house to compliment the hue bridge kit I purchased previously. These are standard bulbs from the hue family. They work great and are plenty bright. My only wish is that Hue would make more decorative bulbs instead of just standard A19 or GU10 bulbs. I guess that’s coming down the road a bit. Overall very happy with the Hue lighting system.

Using with Alexa and works good. A little delay when turning on power to the LED.

Easy to setup with SmartThings and love the easy scheduling to power on and off.

These bulbs are awesome, they work get with the 2.0 hub. I love to put these in places I don't care about having the expensive color bulbs. I've been buying a couple every week it seems.

Works as advertised. 15 bucks is pretty expensive for a lightbulb but I’m totally sold on the smart home idea so it’s worth it to me. Maybe prices will drop in the future

Super easy to configure with the hue dimming kit. Light emmited compares to a quality standard bulb.

These lights look great and are bright and bold. They are easy to install and use.

I bought a few of these bulbs to see what they're all about. I have them installed in a desk lamp and an uplight in the living room. The Hue app lets me control the brightness very well, and it's really nice to be able to dictate a desired power level to Google Home and have it work its magic. It's clearly a gadget, but I think it's very well priced (especially if you already have a bridge from some other purchase).

I already had the HUE hub but I wanted to be able to control and schedule my front porch light. I purchased this one due to not needed the colored bulb. It was a direct replacement for the bulb in the fixture on my front porch. I have it setup to come on automatically at sunset and turn off several hours later using the Apple Homekit. In addition, I can use Siri to turn it on/off any other times through my phone.
