I am very pleased that I purchased the Phillips Hue light bulbs to work with the Hue Bridge I purchased online. They were easy to install and work perfectly with my Echo Dots. I can go into rooms with my arms full and just ask Alexa to turn the lights on (or off as I'm leaving). I can go to bed without checking every room in my townhouse to see if the kids remembered to turn off the lights. "Alexa, all lights off" "Ok".

I gave it 4 stars not because it isn’t an amazing light but because the only issue I have with it. Is the difficulty of resetting the bulb. It has amazing lighting and works flawlessly with Alexa. But I connected it through one network AT&T and ended up changing to xfinity. So the light was synced to that AT&T network and wouldn’t work with Alexa until it was reset and connected to the new network. I couldn’t figure out how to reset it through the Alexa app without contacting the company. Once that was done they easily told me how to reset the bulb. Overall a very good bulb and easy to operate.

Phillips Hue is awesome. The apartment that I live in has really stupid placements for light switches. I’d literally have to walk across the room to turn on a light when I get home at night. So, I set the foyer light to turn on when I get home. This particular light is just the basic light. No color or thrills. It gets the job done and it gets it done well!

Works great with amazon echo plus easy set up and dimming feature works great also

Work really good with the echo plus. I have two of them and they connected easy. Wish they sold cool instead of warm light but everything else was great about it.

I have purchased about 15 of these bulbs. I've put them in lamps, chandeliers, and in a socket on my front porch. They are the same size as regular incandescent bulbs, so they fit everywhere I want them too. They are as bright as a regular 60W bulb when turned all the way up. The one I have outside is in my porch ceiling. It's been their all winter. The Wisconsin winter cold has not caused any problems with it.

Love Hue products. Works as advertised, I have many of their products and continually add more. Bulbs I have had lasted years, I have yet to need to replace any.

These bulbs worked great with the smart system bridge as an addition. Wished they were bright white instead of soft white, but they get the job done nonetheless.

These lights are excellent. They don't give you the colors of the HUE Color bulbs but they have every other feature. Works well in rooms that you just don't need colored bulbs.

Used two bulbs in one ceiling fixture because there was no neutral wire in the switch box. Bought the hub and the two bulbs and they work great. Problem of no neutral wire solved. With Samsung SmartThings hub I can turn on both at same time or when less light is needed I can use them individually. Philips hub didn't find the bulbs so entered them manually using the serial #s on each bulb. That worked easily.

Very easy to set up and inexpensive, as well. Opens up a ton of possibilities with ifttt.

The bulbs were quick to connect and are the perfect brightness for my living room. Fantastic!

It's become an addiction. I'm trying to convert my entire home on hues. They're definitely the way to go when it comes to smart lights. Wemo was just to difficult and glitchy.

I snagged these as a way to test out smart home gadgets, and I love them! They are simple and easy to use. I like having the ability to adjust the light brightness. Now I can read in bed without it being too bright while my partner sleeps. And you can have just the right amount of light for watching a movie. These are just the start and I look forward to expanding with additional Phillips Hue products.

Have added this to my family of Hue Phillips Lights. Installation is soo easy. Do not need to be a tech guru to be able to install. Once step closer to a 100% smart(er) home.

Just as the other reviews, this is for the lazy. Download an app and this thing will make life easy for you, also interfaces with Alexa.....love love love it.

Love how this works with echo dot and plus. Can adjust low like a night light

This light is perfect for my bathrooms. I use it to have dim lighting when I get up to use the bathroom late at night. There is no real need for rainbow colors or even white color temperature changing in my bathroom. For that reason, I choose the most practical hue light for the bathroom, just simply dim to bright. I plan to have a motion detector by my bathroom to produce dim light after late hours
