Not color changing

Bridge picked it up quickly and easily, but this is NOT a color or tint changing bulb. just brightness. Might be good for some, but i was dissappointed.

Simple Set Up

Only complaint is range is limited by bridge connection. Seems to be about the typical range of any bluetooth connection. Average sized home really no worries but if a larger home or multiple floors will probably need more than one bridge.

This bulb does exactly what we want...

It throws a nice soft light. When the sun goes down, and we need more light we just say "Alexa; light on" and the Philips Hue Bulb turns on... Then at bed time or when we are leaving we just say" Alexa light off"and the light turns off...

I am so happy that I purchased these lights. I actually got the colored lights along with the string lights to put over my cabinets in the kitchen which makes it look really chic. I am so happy with my purchase!

Great way to make your house smart

The only issue is if someone decides to turn the power off to the lamp or fixture then it wont work but this is fixed by just not touching the actual lamp. The hub does quick updates and the products seem to be of good quality.

840 lumens!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have about 20 Hue bulbs in my home and I was pleasantly surprised that they recently got boosted from 800 to 840 lumens. Who could complain about a brighter bulb for the same wattage? While I wouldn't see this minor update as a reason to swap out any of my old 800 bulbs, I am happy to see that they are getting more effiecient with each generation.
