Obviously easy to install, but also easy to setup in the Hue app. It is simple to write scripts in the IFTTT (If This Then That) app, such as "If motion is detected by the sensor in the foyer - turn on the Foyer Lamp". And, if you have an Echo/Echo Plus, you can control a single bulb or a group of bulbs, such as all bulbs in a room, by voice. The Hue app lets you setup any groups, or combinations that you want. The only real downside is cost. Ouch.

If you have an Alexa, these work with Alexa/Echo. We use Alexa primarily for lights, and these have been great. Easy to set up with a name and use, and you can tell Alexa "Living Room One - Fifty Percent" and she'll dial the light to the level of your choosing. In that case, fifty percent.

I actually bought this for my granddaughter as a gift and she loves it. She’s very happy with it.

This bulb works well with the hub in my Amazon Echo Plus, so I didn't have to buy the Philips Hue hub (or even download the Philips Hue app). I can power it on/off and set the brightness level using my voice via the Echo Plus, or I can do those things manually through the Alexa app.

Easy to set up with hue hub, I like having the ability to dim the lights thru the app or Amazon echo. A bit pricey.

For $15 it's the right price for a while light bulb that can be dimmed and fully integrated into my Hue setup.

These bulbs are great. They are warm and bright. They are fairly responsive. I have 15 of these smart bulbs in my home and growing. I haven't had an issue with a single one. You'll need a hue hub to automate them. It's been worth it. Philips hue integrates well with Google Home and Smartthings.

i have 11 color hues and four white hues. i love these things! the color ones can be pricey when you get addicted to them, but the white ones are on par with any respectable LED bulb [save the cost of the hub]. but if you have the hub, these white ones are great for rooms where color isn't critical.

Very good product that can be used with Amazon Alexa, Google assistance and smart Things. I do not have to get up every time I want to turn on or off the light just by telling Alexa or using the application on my phone even when I'm traveling anywhere in the world.

I have several of the Hue bulbs and for the most part get the colored ones, I picked this up for a closet as I thought it would be nice to have the smart control but didn't need it to offer different colors

They are what they are. LED light bulbs that you can control from your phone or tablet. I also use SmartThings and have lights automated on a schedule, with motion sensors and for security with motion. Get the full Hue bulbs for colors but if you don't need to change colors these are the way to go!

Bought these for the living room only because the full color bulbs are not pratical at current price levels

I have two of these bulbs and love that I can control them with Alexa and that they can be dimmed. Maybe this isn't life changing, but every night when I go to bed, my bedroom is lit, dimmed to a warm 27%. I can't remember the last time I touched my light switch.

Once you start replacing bulbs, you will find it hard to stop. We use google minis to control our lights. Using IFTTT (if this then that) app, we can say "okay google we're home" and she replies, "greetings my humans" and turns on selected lights. Fun stuff.

Hopefully to one day get all these lights in my house love the way it works with my echo plus

After getting the hub and two bulbs, my tech wheels starting turning. I found lots more places that I could use Hue. I am into this thing now with a dozen bulbs and could not be happier. All have a nightlight, dimmed, and full setting by group or individually. Hope they have a long life.

It does exactly what it says. It works great with Siri and HomeKit too. I have several and will buy more.

I have the Phillips Hue System and several of these bulbs they work as discribed. They do not change the color tone as other Hue bulbs, but they do dim and can be set to come on and off at different times of the day and night.

Considering how long these last and the ease of use with other smart technology (iPhone, Amazon Echo) they are worth the initial investment. I’ve slowly been adding these bulbs to my home and love it every time I’ve made it easier to work a new lamp or fixture.

Received one of these bulbs free with the purchase of an amazon show 2nd generation. I love having the ability to adjust my lights to not only on and off without having to get up but in addition being able to dim and brighten the light to the right setting.
