Received this Hue White Smart Bulb when I purchased the 2nd Generation Echo Show. The bulb was very easy to set up with my Echo Show, and I like the convenience of turning on a light with my voice when my hands are full of grocery bags. Great product!

Love this light bulb. It doesn’t change colors, but can still be used to set up a schedule.

After purchasing the Hue Home Kit (color bulbs) I continue to add on lights in my home to the bridge. The lights can be pricey, but I love all of my rooms being connected and having the ability to turn them on and off from my phone or by voice command when synced with my Amazon dot.

I really have gotten into this technology. This light does what it should, but is not nearly as expensive as some of the others. Love ability to connect to Alexa to control any light in your house. Also love the timers you can set with the app which is pretty basic but easy to use.

We tried other smart light bulbs and have discovered that the Phillips Hue works the best with Alexa. The hub built into the Echo finds the bulb quickly and makes set up extremely simple. We will only purchase Hue bulbs from now on for our Alexa set up.

Wonderful addition to my smart lights throughout my house. This bulbs is cheaper as compared to its colorful counterpart. Very useful to spaces that dont need or require color changing bulbs (bathroom). Easy to setup and to change settings as needed!

I saved 30 dollars on my electric bill using the hue lights in my home upstairs. Love them

I purchased 4 of these bulbs when I made my original purchase of the Gen. 2 Hue Starter Kit in 2016 - - as of 12/2018 all 6 lights along with my hub are still functioning perfectly - - I have since purchased 2 br-30 color bulbs as well, and all are GREAT!!

With the purchase of this lightbulb it was the start of turning my home into a smart home! I couldn’t be happier or more pleased with the outcome I highly recommend spending extra few dollars in investing in the Phillips system smart home lighting!

Echo Show, with its built in hub, allows voice control of lights equipped with this smart bulb. I can also control the bulb with my smartphone from anywhere through the Alexa app. Definitely want to get more in an effort to make the house smarter.

I am pleasantly surprised by these bulbs. I was worried they would be too dim, but they are not. They integrate easily with my other lights, as you would expect. Of course, the price is high, but was still my choice to buy. One negative comment, I bought 10 of these to put around my house. So far, after only about 1 month, 1 of the 4 bulbs I have installed have died. Not a good ratio, but if the others all last as long as they are supposed to, all will be good. I'm still within the return window so hopefully Best Buy will just exchange for me, they are usually great about that kind of thing. One neutral comment, at least when it comes to these bulbs specifically, is that if you have a house with a lot of lights, and you intend to install these everywhere, pay attention to the limit of the hub. I'm nowhere near the limit yet, but if, over time, I install these in all lights, I would have to buy another hub, which is annoying. Hopefully this will get fixed, but likely they will just come out with a "new" version that supports more, requiring an upgrade. Overall, I would still recommend. I like the idea that if we are away from the house I can turn on and off the lights from the app. Only annoyance is that you have to make sure you keep the light switched on and turn on/off lights from the app or one of their wall switches (which are great and easy to install). If you turn off the switch, the bulbs won't get power and can't be controlled remotely.

I bought the starter kit with two bulbs and after a super easy setup of the base I quickly realized I was going to need more light bulbs. I love the software and it was very easy to learn and customize. I now have eight light bulbs including 4 in a ceiling fan light fixture. Works great!

These lights are great for programming. This particular light is only white light, but you can dim them, have them slowly turn on over several minutes to wake you up in the morning, or set them to turn on/off automatically through wifi and the hue app. We use them on our kids nightstand.

I have multiple bulbs for my hue environment. This white bulb is used in standard locations in which I do not have a need or desire for color or want to spend the extra for the hue ambience. It is a great bulb for my foyer and connects wonderfully with my system.

My home is now becoming smart, this came with Alexa and shes taking over my home. Help.

I use this light bulb in a floor lamp in my office. This is great to adjust light, according to what i need to get done. Sometimes I am grinding through the night completing tasks and I need the light brighter, or lower light when during less urgent work.

We purchased the hue lights after we bought the Amazon echo. We put the hue white lights in the kitchen and bedroom. We also purchased the hue color lights which are a little more expensive for our great room which is really nice while watching tv or a movie! Highly recommend
