It would be nice if it had different shades of white. You can dim it of course, but compared to the color version that can do all kinds of shades of most colors, I would only be getting this version if I was more focused on price.

Great bulbs - but still hard to swallow on price. Now after some time, I have 7 regular white, 3 color, 4 strips and 1 bloom - these are the best way, in my opinion, to home automate with hue, Smart-thing's and Amazon Echo......Time to move into the Jetson's age!!!

I'm just starting to get into smart home devices, and wasn't sure this would be all that interesting an addition. It actually is pretty cool. It connected to Alexa without issue, and it features a dimmer in the app, which is pretty nifty.

Was hesitant at first because I haven't really bought into the intelligent home concept. But these little bulbs are so simple and easy to use that it is almost a no brainer. Great idea for giving light to your house at random times when you are away for travel.

I got this bulb to supplement my collection of Hue RGB bulbs. I placed this one with a second White HUE bulb in our hallway lighting receptacle. They have worked really well until recently. One of the white bulbs is functioning correctly, but this one is not responding in the Home app on my iPhone. If I tell Siri to turn on the Hallway, it responds and turns on or off, but if I try to select it in the app, it shows 'no response'. I think it's possible that a reset of the light bulb (removing it and adding it again) would probably do the trick to get it working properly again, but i wanted to note the error we were receiving here since I've used Hue bulbs for years and this is the first issue I've had like this. I do recommend this product as it works flawlessly (most of the time/in general) with Siri/HomeKit.

The light bulb installed properly and connected to my Alexa network immediately. I assigned a name for the unit and all of Alexa's around the house operate it perfectly. I am very pleased with the results and will purchase more bulbs in the future.

I love these lights. The put out just as much light as a regular bulb but when combined with Amazon alexa they are the coolest thing ever. It is so convenient to walk into a room and be able to control the lights with just a voice command. They are also dimmable.

Purchased this to replace a bulb that went out in my walk-in closet. Connected it to my Hue Bridge without any problems and works like a charm with my Scene Settings. Recommended, if you're just looking for a plain white bulb you can control with the Hue app.

These bulbs are great. I use them in all of my end tables and nightstands, as well as in my desk lamp. They have great range (as far as dimming), and, like all hue bulbs, connect easily. Love them, and will continue slowly converting over all my bulbs to hue!

Bought these for the dining room chandelier to control with Alexa. Works well

We are very pleased with this lighting. Alexa dims, brightens it to our needs. And of course turns it on and off as asked. The LED is good to read by and of course very economical. We have since purchased a second bulb and will be getting more.

Got it for free with a purchase of Exho Show. Regular price I believe is around $15 which is kind of pricey since it's only dimmable and not RGB. You can buy wifi RGB light bulbs for about $13. On the plus side, it is easy to install. No need to download an extra app, it connects directly through the Alexa app.

I bought the Hue starter kit and didn't look back. I bought several of these and have them all over my house now. They are bright and work well in every room. I have no issues with connectivity and they respond to all of the Amazon Echo Dot devices that I use.
