Initially it was hard to sync the bulb to Amazon's Alexa but after some googling it was resolved and works perfect. I would like to see more from the Hue app though.

The bulb responds well with your amazon echo plus. So its still worth it. But it would have been better if bulbs were available in full white than just soft white.

I picked up a few of these lights to start out my smart home. I have a Google Home and can also use my phone to turn the lights on and off. I love scheduling the lights to go on and off at certain times so the house is never dark when we get home at night.

Setup was a walkthrough. Customization by room and specific light was a breeze. So easy, my four year old can use it. Phillips is leading the way with this particular innovation. I would highly recommend using product with Amazon Echo products.

Smart bulbs are definitely the way of the future. This LED bulb remains cool to the touch even after it's been on for hours and is very energy efficient. Being able to control its functions by phone app or by voice using Alex is also a big plus.

I had bought the hue hub starter kit and needed more bulbs. These are cool because they like normal LED bulbs. Problem is they don't work well with dimmer switches.

I am adding slowly, to my Smart Home systems... These are the least expensive locally handled bulbs I have found. Anything cheaper will use a server that is not on your WIFI system and when it quits... you can do nothing at all to restore working order.

I've been using these items for a week now and my wife and kids love them.

What can you say about a lightbulb. I am 65 years old, in my life I have seen some amazing things, however, I think this is among the best. It works great, very bright and it will listen to you (with the help of Alexa). This light bulb is the future.

Excellent light that easily integrated with the Hue app. BEWARE: this light will not work with the newer hue app (Bluetooth). This light is for the WiFi hue app.

Whoo Hoo, a cheaper version of the multicolor but just as good. I have these in my bedroom and they are great. I cant change the color but i can dim them, use candlelight, wake and sleep to the sunrise/sunset. Great product. Still have a couple rooms to finish.

I am not sure how I lived without Philips Hue lights before. The fact that you can control them while not at home, dim them by percentage, and work with IFTTT is so amazing. Also, having the ability to control them by voice with Amazon Echo is invaluable.

We love our Hue lights. We bought them with the Alexa and they work great.

Connected to the hue hub in moment and controls remotely with Smartthings.

Very easy to setup. Nice to not have to mess with plugs or extra devices.

If you want these bulbs to coincide with the Amazon Echo by voice command you will need to purchase a Bridge. Without the Bridge it is just another LED bulb that saves you energy and money overtime. Going to get the Bridge soon!

I'm determined to replace every bulb in my house with this energy saving, reasonably priced, Alexa compatible bulb. Yeah, when the Br30 and/or A19 color bulbs go on sale I'll grab up as many as my budget will allow. In the interim, I'm on a mission!
