Love these Philips lights. Very easy integration into my smart home setup. Wish they were a little bit less expensive but i have had no issues with the use of this light bulb system.

Super fun third generation so much brighter than before with better range of colors. Also can be controlled by any device - iPhones/iPads/Mac using homeKit/Siri, Amazon Alexa, Google Home Assistant, and Philips own app along with a bunch of other fun apps. Requires a philips hue hub. Can even control over the internet and turn off lights from afar, set timers, turn on in response to motions, etc. I love the Hue Disco app on iPhones - great to change color to the music! They can even change color based on programming using If This Then That (IFTT) or Stringify, so can change colors based on stock prices, weather, air quality, etc. These are absolutely the best internet connected bulbs that Money can buy! Way better than all the others and way more other types of bulbs that can work on the same systems. Philips owns this space! Highly recommended!

Best lights ever! Set mood or holiday lights. Great whites too Want a more natural white or more blue tint white yep does that too. You can set up lights to turn off when you leave and on when you arrive. Put motion sensors anywhere. Hook up to google home or alexa is super easy just say alexa or hey google pair Philip's hue and boom it's set up. Hey google make kitchen blue or turn off all lights, that's cool too! Expensive yes but worth every penny.

What's not to like? These LED bulbs are made by the leader in Wifi Smart blubs, Philips has done a excellent job! I love that I can control them without the need of a additional hub. They work just great with my Alexa Show. No need for a Philips App or Hub. I just use Alexa to install and control.

Pros: Highly customizable. Better blues and greens, with improved color consistency, brightness, and longevity over previous bulbs. More intuitive app experience. Lots of fun third-party integrations. Cons: Expensive. Setting Routines could be easier.

I have over 26 hue lights and the 3rd gen a19 bulbs colors are a must and great improvement over 1 St gen . The hue lights are my favorite start house product I own since they work with a lot of platform like smart things and Google products. These are a must for any smart home and a great way to start.

This makes the while world of lighting ambience a true reality. While the system is not inexpensive, the bang for buck is simply awesome. Biggest problem is not being able to get everything when you want it, or need it. There is always a stocking problem.

Great color, easy to add to hub. I ended up returning these, but not for any issue. I ended up getting the starter kit again because it worked out to be cheaper per bulb and I have a backup hub now and an extra switch

Purchased this bulb for outside porch so I can change colors with the seasons/holidays. Hue bulbs are very easy to manage and control. Connects with Apple Home and Amazon Echo which make them the choice for me.

I have now purchased 8 of these lights and I absolutely love them. I love the range of color combinations, ability to synchronize them to music, set up routines to come on and off when I want them to, set them to wake me up in the morning and turn off at night. I control them with Amazon's Echo Plus but I can also use my iPhone using the Philips App and the HomeKit app by Apple. One thing I have learned is that you cannot use them in a fixture that is dimmable. If you do, the fixture will cause the bulbs to flash constantly which could trigger an epileptic seizure for someone. it will also void the warranty on the bulbs if you put them in a dimmable fixture.

Specifications are for indoor use, but if your light socket is enclosed and away from the elements you should have no issues. I've had a couple BR30 bulbs outside under my porch for 3 years with no issues. Arrived just in time to replace my normal bulbs and set some of these to red and other green for Christmas holiday. Had one bulb that was farther away then the rest (maybe 60-70 feet from hub) that had some trouble connecting at first. Thought I might have to pick an extender but eventually it connected and have had no issues since. Which is actually great range as some of my other electronics won't reach that far.

Purchasing a single bulb will cause your wallet to automatically deduct the cost of every socket in your house. I love these so much.

Does exactly as advertised and super easy to set up and link. Also syncs well with some apps to change and strobe while playing music. The only negative is it is a little pricey.

I love these color bulbs. They work great, great quality and the colors are vibrant. I wish they were a little cheaper, but they are worth the price.

Great lighting and easy to use and set up. My only complaint would be, it’s a little large for a standard ceiling fan light so the cover doesn’t fit.

This is our 9th or 10th Hue bulb and while not cheap, work very well as we've transitioned to more of a "smart" home. We love how it works with Amazon Echo, but it can be buggy from time to time. Not a deal breaker by any means, but more of temporary inconvenience. The ability to easily change colors using the app is great for holidays and parties. Hands free voice activation is great when you have both arms full of groceries. Also appreciate being able to turn lights on a off while away from home in the event you forget to turn one or two off.

Great colors and ease of control. I love adding more bulbs to my hub and all the fun apps to control them

Great smart bulb, little on the pricey side but works well. I like being able to change colors and such.

I have this product all over my place and really enjoy the different light combinations you can have. Easy to hook up and use.
