Customers are delighted by the hue Bridge's HomeKit compatibility, which allows them to control their lights using their phones, tablets, and Siri. The ease of use and voice control features are also appreciated by users. However, some customers have reported connectivity issues with the new bridge, similar to problems they experienced with the previous version.

No HomeKit support for third party bulbs

Beware! Bought this hub thinking I could link cheap 3rd party bulbs (Cree brand) and control them through Siri. Philips decided to get rid of that support with a firmware update. Then there was all this backlash from customers, and Philips reversed their decision, but DID NOT ENABLE HOMEKIT for 3rd party bulbs the way it was enabled before. Therefore you can control 3rd party bulbs with the app itself, but forget about Siri Voice control. That only works if you buy expensive Philips branded bulbs or "friends of hue" bulbs. What a waste. I'm going to have to return everything. Waiting for something that will be more open.
