Bought these based on a recommendation from a friend and I must say they do add a breath of style wherever you decide to integrate them into your home. I used mine as mood lighting to woo a babe :)

I have Lifx bulbs and bought the Philips Hue to work with Google Home. Even though the Hue lights aren't a bright as Lifx, I'm quite happy with them. I like Lifx's app better and Philip's could learn some things from them. But if you want something that works well with Google Home or Amazon Echo, these are the lights to go with.

Good lights but it is a little pricy for what you get.

After looking to jump into the connected light bulb world, I got the Hue Starter Set for Christmas and have been happy with the product. Setup was a lot easier than I had initially thought, but beware that the light bulb bridge does require a wired connection to your router. From there, adding the lights is simple using the smartphone app. They start working right off the bat and you can set numerous presets to fill your room with color. I have enjoyed setting alarms that coincide with my regular alarm to help me get out of bed in the morning - you can even set them to fade on in the morning instead of turn on right away. I also like the geofence option to turn on your lights when you get near your home but only after sunset. I love walking into my home with the lights already on. I want to dive more heavily into IFTTT and see what else I can do with my Hue lights. In the future, I want to add the LED light strips beneath my kitchen cabinets. But with these products still set at a premium price, it will be a little bit yet. I'm also considering the connected light bulb that does not change colors. I've been happy with my purchase this far!

The atmosphere these lights can create can vary from breathlessly beautiful to party ready in an instant. These bulbs will replace every light in my home soon. I would definitely recommend this product to bring color into your home.

Love my hue kit. Really is great value for the price. Please note however that this is the older version and if you care about a true green or yellow color you may want to go for newer model. For my needs, living room, I mostly use blue, bright white, and fushia which are beautiful and am very happy with purchase.

I have a few of these bulbs throughout the house. I purchased the first ones when this was only good brand out there. I bought these to upgrade to color and the newer hub. They are still too expensive especially with new competition coming out everyday.

I have them in my dinning room. they are very bright, even brighter than me old 60w bulbs. Controlling the on/off with my phone is pretty sweet. Love them, considering buy more(to be honest, $50 for one bulb is very expensive...)

This was a great starter package for my first foray into smart lights, and with color changing bulbs to boot. The hub was easy to setup and has easily integrated with my Amazon echo and with my logitech harmony companion remote.

It's a good lighting system, it isn't quite what I was expecting but it will do. Setting up the schedule was a little challenge but after a few times I figured it out. It links up to my wink app which I found to be easier for scheduling. Also, I found it works with my nest t-stat which helps to know when I get home.

purchased for my daughter, a little bit of an expensive gift but she loves them. Already have apps installed to control the lights on her phone and she is rockin. I was amazed at the capabilities of these lights. I was impressed.

I purchased this for my Google Home. I also purchased a Philips Hue Motion Sensor. The range of colors is minimal, but the quality of light is great. They can be controlled from your phone as well,whether you're home or not.

Got these for my kitchen where I didn't need the color ability of the other hue bulbs. Love having the flexibility of the various white levels. The bulbs also work with Alexa so can turn them on and off with just my voice.
